14 years later & I still can’t come visit this page without bawling my eyes out! Losing a loyal and true friend is never easy. They say one doesn't truly die till their memory has faded & your name is spoken for the very last time.... if that’s true, then your still with us as your Memory is Alive & Well, (& forever Cherished in our Hearts & Souls!) You left paw prints of love on everyone who knew you. Although you are thoroughly missed, I’m glad you are in the land of the remembered… pets are like gifts from God—they come into our lives and bring us such joy without asking for anything in return. Anatole France said it Best: {Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened.}

Heidi sounded like she was a wonderful companion here on this earth. I know so well how they can become part of our family, to the point of being bed hogs LOL! Blessings upon you and your family. Time tends to go by slowly when we lose a loved-one, and I think most of the time it's even harder when it's a four-footed one. They tend to love us unconditionally... people should take lessons from them... the world would be a nicer place. Hugs of comfort, Ro

Hey Sweet Baby Girl, it's been two months now, yet it seems like a life time with out you! We miss you so very much! Not a day goes by that you don't come up in conversation, & you are still (& always will be) very much a BIG part of our lives! We framed a picture & keep next to our bed, which still seems so very empty without you! Who would have ever thought such a sweet little thing as you would have such a major impact on so many people's lives, & I just want you to know that not a day goes by that I am not GRATEFUL for the time that we were able to spend with one another! You were truly a blessing sent from God Above... I Love You, & I Miss You! Thank-You For taking such good care of all of us when we needed you most. You are truly the most Compassionate, Dedicated, Loyal, Faithful, Loving, Giving, & Forgiving Soul I have EVER met! I wish more Humans could share your gift & trait! I Love You Baby Girl, We'll All Be Together Again One Day. I Believe That!

Baby Girl, this is so incredibly hard, it's been a week, & I can't seem to make it thru a day without bawling my eyes out, every thing I do reminds me of you. Robert says when he comes home from work is the hardest part of the day for him because you are not there to greet him @ the door. Our Bed & Our Hearts Seem So EMPTY Without You! I wanted you to know that when arrangements are complete, we are going to fly you back home to Ga. & lay you to rest half way up on the trail between Granny Betty's & Our House, it only seems suitable since you spent so many loyal years traveling that path visiting & comforting us! We'll make it our special place & visit often. I realize you are in a better place with no pain or suffering, & it's probably nice not having to take your insulin injections twice a day now, but that doesn't make the transition any easier & we miss you immensely. I attended the candlelight vigilance tonight, in honor of you, The ceremony was beautiful. We Love You & Miss You!

To precious Heidi, a new angel at the Rainbow...I'm just so very sure the very moment you crossed over to your new home that your health, youth and vigor were instantly renewed, weren't they? And though you are going to miss your family, I just know you've had a chance to look around for a soft heavenly place to take your many sunshine-filled doggy naps, haven't you sweet baby... And each time you look up, and see the wondrously beautiful Rainbow, may you know that your family has actually helped make it shine a little brighter. How? With their tears, sweet baby. Their gentle tears here have mixed with the sunshine there at your new home, and your Rainbow shines even more beautifully for you now, doesn't it little baby! An old Indian proverb: "THE SOUL WOULD HAVE NO RAINBOW IF THE EYES HAD NO TEARS" says it best...You are now resting in the Arms of the Angels...what more could your family have ever wished for you? What more could they have ever wished....

Hello Heidi sounds like you had a wonderful life here with your mom and dad, now it is time for you to watch over them for awhile as they continue their lifes journeys here without you for awhile, send them that special sign to let them know that you are with them always just inside their hearts and that you will save a special spot by the cool streams for them to re-join you again one day. Until then rest with dance with the angels.

My deepest sympathies to you and your family on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 8 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on. I rescue Mini Schnauzer's. What a gorgeous baby.

Dear Heidi, You were heaven sent to Vicki and Robert, Now,you are back in heaven where you will live forever in beautiful meadows. You are a beautiful girl, and as much as your parents were fortunate to have you for 11 1/2 years, so were you to have them as your Mom and Dad. Let them know soon you made it to the bridge safe and your okay. Tell them to hold on to precious memories of you and that you will never be that far away from them. To: Robert and Vicki, I am so very sorry for the loss of your precious Heidi. I am SO sure she had a wonderful life and knew how very much you loved her. Heidi is now at RB and she is young again and happy. May all your loving memories help to bring you peace and comfort in the days ahead as they seemed to help us following the loos of our beloved Tarby. See Tarby--http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/TARBY002/Resident.htm ..Her spirit will always be with you guys, never forget that. May the Angels wrap their arms around her until you meet again.
