Hi Norma, this is Lynne from South Australia. I just visited Harriett's memorial. I hadto have my daughter, best friend and soul mate Topsy put to sleep on 4th January 2022 and only found this site on 28th December 2022. I think the relationship you had with Harriett must have been similar to what Topsy and I shared. I have decided to visit the memorials and write to all the Australians who have created such beautiful tributes to their family members who are now waiting at The Bridge for us all to join them. My thoughts are with you Karen, love Lynne

Norma, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy.....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. We are sure that beautiful Harriett and Nikki Mae have become good friends and are now having so much fun playing and running again. Please visit our Nikki Mae at: http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/NIKKI115/Resident.htm

Dear Norma, your little Harriett is so beautiful and precious in her pictures. I have tears in my eyes as I write.. your words and memories show how very much Harriett was treasured and loved for all those years she was with you. Though it breaks our hearts when our precious little fur babies grow old and leave us for heaven's most beautiful meadow, we must always know that they have gone to a happy place where they are young and well again. Sweet Harriett now plays like a puppy in heavenly sunshine. She roams, chases, cuddles and naps with many new fur friends, knowing all along that she will be reunited with her earthly mommy someday. My two kitties, Inky and Bubba Lou, were there to welcome Harriett to the rainbow meadow and I am sure my kitties have fallen in love with your angel baby. We will see our furry little loved ones again someday, never to be parted for all of eternity. Blessings of healing and peace, dear friend. I understand and care. Jane

I am so sorry that Harriet had to leave to cross the bridge. They are not lost, just waiting for us. My best friends and companions went to the bridge, Willy last year and Daniel just this week. My tears are flowing freely when I think of them. I know though, that they are all definitely playing in the meadows, running and jumping now. Willy and Daniel loved the sunshine, and I hope that she does too. I believe that God would not have made a Heaven without our beloved companions there to meet us. I left an angel to look over Harriet, as they are our special angels watching over us. I hope that your pain begins to turn to peace that fills your heart with nothing but wonderful memories. They make the days become a little less heartbreaking knowing that their hearts are always in ours. God Bless You until we all meet again. I would love for you to visit Willy at http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/WILLY010/Resident.HTM. Daniel’s link is their also.

Hello, pretty gentle Harriett, welcome to the sunny meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Mummy loves and misses you so...she made you a beautiful place and wrote loving words about you. We asked our Pressy to welcome you and be a playmate to chase sunbeams, rainbows, and mice and give you special kitty love headbumps. She'll show you wonders of Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so Mummy feels your loving presence with her and sweet licks in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly until she comes to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask she not be so sad but treasure memories of you and remember you're nestled beside your pawprints deep in her heart forever. Play meadow games with other furangels but stop often to smile at Mummy so she feels the warmth of your love surround her and knows you miss her too and are with her. Soar among clouds now on silvery new angel wings to watch over Mummy always, beloved little pumpkin. Pressy's Grandpa

Hello Norma, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Harriett. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. One day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander & Zianna & have attached their link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZIANN001/Resident.htm

They will not go quietly, the pets who've shared our lives. In subtle ways they let us know their spirit still survives. Old habits still can make us think we hear them at the door Or step back when we drop a tasty morsel on the floor. Our feet still go around the place the food dish use to be, And, sometimes, coming home at night, we miss them terribly. And although time may bring new friends and a new food dish to fill, That one place in our hearts belongs to them.... and always will. - Author unknown. I am so sorry for your loss but I do hope that this poem offers you some comfort. Blessings………………….. Joyce

Harriett - How cute you are! You are a precious lady and so beautiful! You have left your family many endearing memories! Send your family some signs, kisses from the Rainbow to let them know that you are safe, happy, healthy and will have many friends. Let Norma know that God has appointed you to be her guardian, protector to watch over her until she is called to join you at the Bridge. To Norma - I send my heartfelt sympathy to you over the loss of Harriett. I too lost my soulmate not long ago, see Brande at http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BRAND167/Resident.htm - We know that God has promised we will be with our babies again. I leave this quote with you, "heaven is the only place where all the dogs and cats you have ever loved will come running to meet you." Author Unknown

Hi Norma, Harriet says she loves the photo you posted here because it now everyone knows how cute she is. "Don't feel lost, mummy. I'm right here and I'll be with you whether you are at home or traveling, I promise. Those licks were my kisses for you and those rats and mice were just little tokens of my love for you, mummy. You'll feel me near and don't doubt for even one moment, because it really be me and Berwick is here too. We play together." You have precious soul mate pets on the other side and you are truly blessed, Norma! Warm and heartfelt wishes, Mari LaFore

Dear Norma to lose such a dear friend is so painful and difficult. You and Harriet shared so much of life. She sounds like quite a charactor and looking at her pictures. A sense of humor..our dogs never leave us. They are a constant of warmth love joy play and comfort. We come to depend on them without question so when we must let them go it is so wrenching and our life can feel so unsettled with their absence.what wonderful times you shared and what a haply dog Harriet appears. I believe love goes on and does not die as all life must. My proof...when I look into the eyes of my two elderly dalmatians I feel thelove trust and devotion of all the beloved dogs who shared my life and times. You are in myhopes thoughts

My Sidney was on the bridge to welcome Harriett to her new home. They are chasing sunbeams and telling "tails" of their great lives. I have asked them to send you a rainbow from heaven above, a upside down smile. When you miss Harriett the most, listen to your heart, her love and paw print are there.
