Our dearest Harkin-Boy, how can it be that it is a year already since I held you in my arms & said our forever goodbye? Each & every day (nearly every waking hour) you have been on my mind. I miss you so very, very much. At this time one year ago, Dad & I were inconsolable. As I write this, I have brand new tears in my eyes. I spent today (like many days) looking through pictures & remembering fun times with you. I opened your box with your favorite "not-so-stuffed-anymore" toys & your favorite blue blankie. I wanted to smell your smell on them, but alas, your beautiful scent is gone. It lives on in my memory, just like the click of your nails on the hardwood floor, the clink of your tag & collar, your bark, the feel of your fur, & how I felt when I looked in those beautiful brown eyes & face of yours. We will ALWAYS remember & love you. Perhaps I will visit you in Heaven again in a dream & one day we will all be together again. Til then, you fill my heart w/ LOVE. XOXO Momster&Dad

My deepest sympathies to you on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 6 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

Deb..what a fun tribute to a beautiful furry. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us. Be sure to know Harkin will be happy, healthy and playing with Oreo,Ralph and friends while waiting for us to join them at the Bridge. I can send you my babies site if you wish to visit..take care..

Hello Deb, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Harkin. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on there memory and begin to celebrate there life. Please take comfort in knowing that one day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander in July 2008 & have attached his link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm

Harkin - You are the most and greatest guy of all! You have left mom and dad a lot of love! Send them some signs, kisses from the Rainbow to let them know that you are safe, happy, healthy, and will have many friends. Let Mom and Dad know that God has appointed you to be their guardian, protector to watch over them until they are called to the Bridge to join you one day. I will tell my Brande to find you and play with you. To Deb - I send my heartfelt sympathy to you over the loss of Harkin. I too lost my soulmate not long ago, see Brande at http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BRAND167/Resident.htm - We know that God has promised we will be with our babies again one day. I leave this quote with you, "heaven is the only place where all the dogs and cats you have ever loved will come running to meet you." Author Unknown

Hello, handsome Harkin, welcome to the sunny meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Momster and Dad love and miss you so...they made you a beautiful place and wrote loving words for you. We asked our Pressy to welcome you and be a playmate to chase sunbeams and rainbows and give you special kitty love headbumps. She'll show you wonders of Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so Momster and Dad feel your loving presence with them and sweet kisses in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly until they come to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask they not be so sad but treasure memories of you and remember you're nestled beside your pawprints in their hearts forever. Play meadow games with other furangels but stop often to smile at Momster and Dad so they feel the warmth of your love surround them and know you miss them too. Soar among clouds on silvery new angel wings to watch over Momster and Dad always, beloved Dog's Barky. Pressy's Grandpa

Dear Deb and Family, he's so beautiful and it's easy to see by your words that he was so much a part of your life and so loved. Your sweet "Dog's Barkey" is well and happy and playing with many new furfriends in heaven's most beautiful meadow. I know this is true because my Inky and Bubba Lou are playing there too. They are furcats but I am sure Harkin will love playing with them. We will be reunited with our babies at the bridge someday. To us, it will seem like an eternity, but to them, it's the blink of an eye and the wag of a tail. May precious memories bring healing to your hearts and may God bless you with comfort and peace. I understand and care.

Harkin, you are so gorgeous! Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the heart of your mom-ster and dad, and they will send their love right back to you on angels' wings. Deb, yoru world has lost a very special furperson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed home a very special soul. Harkin, the dog's barky, is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together.
