It’s been another year handsome Hankie!! We all celebrated your birthday this year. It’s not the same with you not here. We take your ashes with us when we go on road trips. Your Star Wars collar and TX ID hang so honorably on the rear view. We miss your dear sweet smile and the softness of your fluffy ears. We love you Meatball!!!

It’s been a year.... So many emotions run through my mind as I remember today. You are still loved, missed, honored in our lives. Max and Maggie remind us of you at times.... in very ways; your lazy sit, your unwavering gratitude and joy of playing. You are still here with us in spirit. We keep your collar in the truck (named after you). We know you are enjoying your time running in the fields, hopefully not as winded as you got with us! Be well my sweet Meatball, until we all meet again!

Hey there Handsome. Daddy and I are a few days late to write on your wall. We bought you a Hankie engraved dog bone pillow. It helps feed shelter animals. We always make sure to honor you with the other shelter animals less fortunate. We miss you dearly. There are moments we see another doggie that reminds us of you. Know you are irreplaceable. We hope you are meeting other fur babies and enjoying your new heavenly home. You are always with us.

It’s been a while since I last wrote something. A lot has been going on for us here. Know that we think of you in loving ways. Mommy planted more flowers in the garden by your pond. I bought solar paws to light up at night. I know you are still with us in spirit, that brings us all comfort. I hope you are making new friends and enjoying your peace.... YOU most definitely have earned it. We love you our dear handsome boy. Always and forever!!

Hank, I know your days are filled with all the wonderful things there at the bridge. Take a minute from time to time and send a sign down to your mommy. Just let her know that although you can no longer be by her side, you are always watching over her. Dear sweet Hank, you are so loved, very much missed and will never be forgotten.

Dear Stephanie, I know your heart is still broken over the loss of Hank and I wanted you to know I share in your sadness. You can tell from his eyes that he just wanted to please you and no doubt would do anything in his power to protect you. It is what I love most about our canine companions; their unconditional love and loyalty. I do hope your memories of Hank will eventually turn joyful. Blessings.
