That is the sweetest memorial ever! I looked at each photo and she was such a beautiful girl! And I loved the way she layed on her back! Too precious! Sending love and hugs to you two. Losing a dear companion hurts to the very roots of ones heart. God Bless You!

Your Tribute to Gypsy was absolutely beautiful and brought tears to my eyes. Reminded me of finding Diesel at the shelter and no-one wanting to adopt him until I laid eyes on him. You did a wonderful thing with Gypsy. I really hope Diesel and Gypsy are frolicking together right now. And thank you so much for you message for Diesel as well.

Alan, thank you for signing our dog Bailey's guestbook yesterday. I read Gypsy's memorial and she was a beautiful girl. Our Bailey would have liked her--there used to be a female dog very similar to Gypsy living nearby a few years ago and Bailey always wanted to go outside and see her. It's obvious Gypsy was well-loved and happy. Pet loss grief is a very real thing as we're discovering, and kind words from others who have experienced the same thing is very helpful in the grieving and healing process. Thank you again and take care.

WOW!! When I looked at your pictures I saw my Old Girl in those golden eyes. She too was a rescue, her story was so sad but like you she was able to work her way right into our hearts. She wasn't as fortunate as you we only got three years with her as she was a senior when she leaped into our hearts. She is here with my Princess, Kaizer, Maddie, Buddy, Lucky Girl, Scooby, Bud Jones Jarvis and Belinda Sue. I do hope you have met them all and are having a grand time up there in heaven. I left you some Easter things I hope you are hiding eggs and getting ready for a grand Egg hunt in heaven this year for Easter. Many blessings to your humans for opening their hearts to you. I always say, people may say we rescue but you are the ones that give us so much more than we will ever be able to give back. Rest well sweet Gypsy.

Gypsy, Please take you mom and dad for the kind words at my time of loss. You remind me a lot my Gilbey. He and the term "fetch" did not know each other. And the only thing he wanted in his mouth was cheese. Please take care of him and look in on your mom & dad. They miss and love you.

What a beautiful girl and a beautiful story. You were both very lucky to have found each other. It seems like it was meant to be. May your hearts find comfort in the happy memories you shared with Gypsy and solace knowing you gave her the life that she so deserved.

Dear Alan & Kristen, so sorry to read of the loss of your beautiful Gypsy, she is so gorgeous. They say everything happens for a reason and she was so lucky that you found her that day and you had all those years with her. It is really hard when they have to go, especially when it is before their time and suddenly, but we can't let them suffer. The house is so empty now. You wrote about her lying on the floor and everyone had to step over or around her, Sally was just the same and being such a big girl took up a lot of floor space. I hope by now you are coming to terms with your loss as I know in time so will I. Regards Johanna
