What a precious tribute to your beloved Gussie, full of love and delight over this special boy God brought into your life, and you into his. Thank you for sharing this loving memorial of your wonderful boy, Laurie. I wish I'd had the chance to meet him. I truly believe with all my heart that our beloved pets will be in heaven to greet us when we arrive at our heavenly home. Surely they will! The Father gave us these sweet beings to bless us, to teach us how to offer our tender, vulnerable hearts in love, and to be loved in return. I am convinced it will be His joy and delight to keep them safe for us in heaven until we come Home. It will make "Home" seem more like home when we are finally Home forever. I'll bet our kitties will play together! :) Your Gussie and Brahmie with my Twilight and Sammy-kitty, and all the others who went on before and since. God bless you, Laurie! May the Father ease the ache of their loss until you meet again.

Dear sweet Gussie Cat, I am sorry you had to leave your mom and family when you got sick. I just read your story and all the wonderful remembrances of your brave, loving, faithful life together with mommy Laurie. She loved and loves you so. I see from your pictures how handsome and beautiful you are. My Katie went to the bridge this year in May at age 16. I hope you two are together, sharing stories of how much you both were adored while here on earth with us. I know you are pain free now and with your Brahmies at the bridge. Take care, sweet boy. Thank you for being your mom's patient, faithful, loving companion all those wonderful years. We'll see you again one fine day at Rainbows Bridge. xoxoxo

Dear Gussie, I can't believe that it's been a year since your mommy had to say goodbye to you. I remember how she tried so hard to keep you with her and her heart would break, when the time came when she knew that she had to let you go. You are a very special boy Gussie!
