Roger, he's absolutely beautiful in his picture. What a wonderful blessing that Gus came into your life many years ago, bringing love and happiness every day he was with you. It breaks our hearts when our fur babies grow old and leave us for heaven's most beautiful meadow, but we must always know that they have gone to a happy place where they are young and well again. Sweet Gus now plays like a puppy in heavenly sunshine. My two kitties, Inky and Bubba Lou, the lights of my life, were there to welcome Gus to the rainbow meadow and I am sure my kitties are in awe of beautiful Gus! We will see our furry little loved ones at the rainbow bridge someday, never to be apart from them for all of eternity. I wish you blessings of healing and peace, dear friend. Please know that I understand and care. Jane

They will not go quietly, the pets who've shared our lives. In subtle ways they let us know their spirit still survives. Old habits still can make us think we hear them at the door Or step back when we drop a tasty morsel on the floor. Our feet still go around the place the food dish use to be, And, sometimes, coming home at night, we miss them terribly. And although time may bring new friends and a new food dish to fill, That one place in our hearts belongs to them.... and always will. - Author unknown. I am so sorry for your loss but I do hope that this poem offers you some comfort. Blessings………………….. Joyce

Gus - You are so handsome and you look like you know what it is all about! You have left your family many endearing memories! Send your family some signs, kisses from the Rainbow to let them know that you are safe, happy, healthy and will have many friends. Let Roger know that God has appointed you to be his guardian, protector to watch over him until he is called to join you at the Bridge. To Roger - I send my heartfelt sympathy to you over the loss of Gus. I too lost my soulmate not long ago, see Brande at http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BRAND167/Resident.htm - We know that God has promised we will be with our babies again. I leave this quote with you, "heaven is the only place where all the dogs and cats you have ever loved will come running to meet you." Author Unknown

Sidney was on the bridge to welcome Gus to his new home. They are chasing sunbeams and telling "tails" of their great lives. I have asked them to send you a rainbow from heaven above, a upside smile. When you miss Gus the most, listen to your heart his love and paw print are there

Hello Roger, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Gus. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. One day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander & Zianna & have attached their link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZIANN001/Resident.htm

Gus, you are so handsome! Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the heart of your dad who misses you so much, and he will send his love right back to you on angels' wings. Roger, your world has lost a very special furperson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed home a very special soul. Gus is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May his sweet love continually hug your heart until then. Blessings and peace, Clare and Martha....Please visit our Katy at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/KATY004/resident.HTM

ROGER SO SORRY ABOUT THE PASSING OF GUS YOUR WONDERFUL FRIEWND AND SOUL MATE FOR MANY YEARS
From: Pressy's Family
On: 7/21/12

Hello, handsome Gus, welcome to the forever sunny meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Dad loves and misses you so...he made you a beautiful place at Rainbows Bridge. We asked our Pressy to welcome you and be a playmate to chase golden sunbeams and colorful rainbows and give you special kitty love headbumps. She'll show you wonders of Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so Dad feels your loving presence with him and special kisses in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly for him until he comes to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask he not be so sad but treasure memories of you and remember you're nestled beside your pawprints deep in his heart forever. Play happy meadow games with other furangels but stop often to smile at Dad so he feels the warmth of your love surround him and knows you miss him too and are with him. Soar among clouds now on silvery new angel wings to watch over Dad always, beloved Gus. Pressy's Grandpa
