I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Griff. Please find comfort in knowing that Griff is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19 and Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20. I am sure that Griff and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Dear Gary & Sue, My heart is saddened with yours in the loss of Griff. As a fellow dog owner/lover all my life, I know the deep heartache we feel when we lose one so precious to us. I do hope, with time, the sadness will life and in its place will be some joyful memories that will make you smile or laugh again when you think of Griff. Blessings, Dianna

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Such an adorable little Griff and such a good long life. I just know you all had a good time together with lots of love and play and joy in your home. It is so hard when they have to go. They suffer too just like us. So it is important to call their names and tell them how much we love and miss them. I do everY day I tell him all the things in my heart. I will miss him forever and hold him in my heart and soul. He needs to know that to help him heal his pain. So talk and sing and maybe he will pay you a visit. My Cujo visits me. We now have our own special guardian angels forever watching over us till we hug again. Be well. God bless and keep all three of you.

I am very sorry for your loss of sweet Griff. He is fortunate to have a family who loves him so much, and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I'm sure the joyful memories will bring some comfort during this difficult time as you adjust to new routines without your precious pup. Play hard at the Bridge dear Griff and look for Buddy (our Yorkie). He loves to play and can show you the ropes.

I am so sorry for your loss of Griff. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling so with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. I know you had a special relationship with Griff that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girl, Bailey, found Griff and they have become friends. May the precious love you shared with Griff continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. Peace and blessings to you. My precious Bailey left our world December 5th, 2013 and we miss her so. Please visit my Bailey at http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/BAILE364/Resident.htm

For sweet Griff, I know that during your lifetime you gave Gary and Sue much joy. Now I am wishing you lots and lots of happiness playing in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at your photo and reading what your family wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Griff, I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For Gary and Sue, I just visited your Griff's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your precious Fur Angel. I am sure if asked, Griff would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Having lost my little dog Pedro I can understand how you must be feeling and how much you must miss Griff. Wishing you both all the very best always, Rosalind (Pedro's Mom).

Gary and Sue: Griff’s zest for life and adventures will be forever cherished , as you reflect on years spent that were so fulfilling. Allow time to grieve and process the loss for which I am so deeply sorry. A pull rope will keep your eternal connection- just never let go !
