They will not go quietly, the pets who've shared our lives. In subtle ways they let us know their spirit still survives. Old habits still can make us think we hear them at the door Or step back when we drop a tasty morsel on the floor. Our feet still go around the place the food dish use to be, And, sometimes, coming home at night, we miss them terribly. And although time may bring new friends and a new food dish to fill, That one place in our hearts belongs to them.... and always will. - Author unknown. I am so sorry for your loss but I do hope that this poem offers you some comfort. Blessings………………….. Joyce

Tom, he's beautiful and precious in every way. I love the pictures... they show how very much Griff was loved and treasured every day he was with you. It breaks our hearts when our furbabies leave us for heaven's most beautiful meadow, but we must always know that they have gone to a happy place where they are young and well again. Sweet Griff and Stubby now play like puppies in heavenly sunshine. Together they roam, chase, woof-woof, cuddle and nap, knowing all along that they will be reunited with their earthly family someday. My two kitties, Inky and Bubba Lou, were there to welcome Griff to the rainbow meadow and I am sure my kitties are enchanted with both of your angel babies. We will see our furry little soulmates again someday, never to be parted for all of eternity. I wish you and your family blessings of healing and peace, dear friend. I understand and care. Jane

Griff - You are a handsome guy and I know that you will be missed! You have left your family many endearing memories! Send your family some signs, kisses from the Rainbow to let them know that you are safe, happy, healthy and will have many friends. Let Tom know that you have met up with Stubby and that God has appointed you to be his guardian, protector to watch over him until he is called to join you at the Bridge. To Tom - I send my heartfelt sympathy to you over the loss of Griff. I too lost my soulmate not long ago, see Brande at http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BRAND167/Resident.htm - We know that God has promised we will be with our babies again. I leave this quote with you, "heaven is the only place where all the dogs and cats you have ever loved will come running to meet you." Author Unknown

Hello Tom, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Griff. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. Please take comfort in knowing that one day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander in July 2008 & have attached his link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm

My Sidney was on the bridge to welcome Griff to his new home. They are chasing sunbeams and telling "tails" of how much they were loved. I have asked them to send you a rainbow from heaven above, a upside down smile. When you miss Griff the most listen to your heart, his love and paw print are there

Dear tom what loving care you gave griff. You were his touchstone in what must have been a sad and confusing time for a person andhis dog. However the sadness and pain you gavegriff that for which all dogs and we people yearn. Love a home and family. You brought a vulnerable and sick dog into your world and gave him a meaningful life thank you. I believe love goes on for when I look into the dear eyes of my two old rescues I see the love warmth and comfort of all the dogs who have been part and parcel of my life. You are in my heart hopes and prayers as you mourn and celebrate the life of a wonderful and brave friend. I suspect whereever they are stubby and gruff Re sharing happy memories of time on this old earth shared with you. I hope you sense their love and gratitude. Best jule

Griff, you are so handsome! Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the heart of your dad who misses you so much, and he will send his love right back to you on angels' wings. Tom, your world has lost a very special furperson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed home a very special soul. Griff, along with "Stubby", is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May their sweet love continually hug your heart until then. Blessings and peace, Clare and Martha....Please visit our Katy at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/KATY004/resident.HTM

Tom, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy.....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. We are sure that beautiful Griff and Nikki Mae have become good friends and are now having so much fun playing and running again. Hello, handsome Griff, welcome to the meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Dad loves and misses you so...he made you a beautiful place and wrote loving words. We asked our Pressy to help angel Stubby welcome you and be a playmate to chase golden sunbeams and colorful rainbows and give you special kitty love headbumps. She'll help show you wonders of Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so Dad feels your loving presence with him and special kisses in gentle breezes. You're now another guardian star shining brightly until he comes to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask he not be so sad but treasure memories of you and remember you're nestled beside your pawprints in his heart forever. Play meadow games with other furangels but stop often to smile at Dad so he feels the warmth of your love surround him and knows you miss him and are with him. Soar among clouds with Stubby on silvery new angel wings to watch over Daddy always, beloved baby boy. Pressy's Grandpa
