"God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your blessed furangel, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your face and a chuckle to your heart as you remember how your baby’s paw prints touched your life, be the ones that bloom in your heart this Holiday Season. My prayer for all of us this blessed season, is that each of our babies wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us during the Holidays. May you catch a glimpse of your special sign, just when your heart needs it the most....And may each love-filled memory you have of your sweet kitty Gilbie bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your baby-angel would want for you this year...God bless, and best wishes for you and your family this Holiday Season, Karen (Dusty, DJ, Patches, and Momma’s mom) http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/DUSTY101/Resident.htm

Hello Angela, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Gilbie. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. One day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander & Zianna & have attached their link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZIANN001/Resident.htm

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Gilbie. Please find comfort in knowing that Gilbie is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. Just recently on January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. Spooky never met Hannah but I am sure Spooky greeted Hannah at the bridge. I am sure that Gilbie, Spooky, and Hannah have become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Angela, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy.....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. We are sure that beautiful Gilbie and Nikki Mae have become good friends and are now having so much fun playing and running again. Please visit our Nikki Mae at: http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/NIKKI115/Resident.htm

For sweet Gilbie, I know that during your lifetime you gave Angela much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness at Rainbows Bridge. From looking at your photo and at the beautiful residency Angela created just for you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Gilbie I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and although he is a little dog he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For Angela, I just visited Gilbie's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. I am sure if asked, Gilbie would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Last January I lost my little boy Pedro so I can understand how you must be feeling. Angela please visit my Pedro and write a few words in his guest book at http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Pedro002/Resident.htm - thank you. Wishing you all the best always, Rosalind (Pedro's mom)

Angela, I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful Gilbie. Gilbie was sent to you by our Lord the Almighty as a sign of his love for you. These furry packages of love deliver to us such special fellowship, and companionship. There is nothing stronger than the bond that a man or a woman has for their fur-baby. They give us the strength to face the daily human/earthly dealings. I just lost Ginger the love of my life; my leading lady of 17 years, this past fall. Grieving is a natural response of having to send them on their final journey to eternal happiness. Take care in knowing that your precious Gilbie is relaxing at one of the many meadows that surround the Rainbows Bridge, is well and playing with the other fur-babies like my Ginger. Gilbie sends love wishes your way; thankful for having you as their human soul-mate and waits for you to be there with them. Please visit my Ginger at http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/GINGE256/Resident.htm

Gilbie, Im sure that you were Angela's wonderful best friend and she misses you terribly. Please look down on her and let her know that you are waiting for her, eating everything in sight and playing with your new friends and she will feel your love. I see that you didn't stay with us very long. Neither did my Gabriel that left to go to the meadow just about two weeks ago. He was only 5... still a pup in my eyes. I will send Gabriel to help you get acquainted with all of your new friends. We love all of you and we will be there soon. Enjoy the meadow sweetheart.

I'm sorry for the loss of your Gilbie. Its funny that when we bring our furbabies into our lives we think we're doing them a favor. We get so much more in return. I understand how hard it is to say goodbye. At least its just for now. You'll be together again when its time. Until then, Gilbie is at the bridge happy and healthy. He's having a ball with his new friends all the while still keeping an eye on you. I hope he's met my Finn by now. He's a friendly little cat who was the love of my life...You are not alone. My Sidney was on the bridge to welcome Gilbie to her new home. They are chasing sunbeams and telling "tails" of their great lives. I have asked them to send you a rainbow from heaven above, a upside down smile. When you miss Gilbie the most, listen to your heart, her love is there.

Dear Gilbie, you are purrfectly gorgeous! Please go to the Bridge and purr your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the heart of your mommy who misses you so much, and she will send her love right back to you on angels' wings. Angela, your world has lost a very special furpurrson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed home a very special soul. Gilbie is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May his sweet love continually nuzzle your heart until then, and may you find comfort in knowing that the silver thread of love that binds you heart to heart with Gilbie will never be broken. Blessings and peace, Clare and Martha...Please visit our Katy at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/KATY004/resident.HTM
