Hello Heather! I wanted to send you a message because your memorial to your Gandalf brought me to tears. I'm sure that you still think about him all the time. I lost my Ember only 3 days ago, and I can't imagine how to get past it. Though I know it will get somewhat easier, I can't imagine a day going by without thinking of her. She made such an impact on my life. She's more than a pet and the bond I had with her will last forever. You talked about how you loved how Gandalf smelled, and it made me smile because I still remember how Ember smelled like lavender (her soap) and sunshine. I miss that. I hope that Gandalf and Ember will become friends, they were such great companions to us. If you'd like to visit Ember: https://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/EMBER001/Resident.htm. Warmest wishes to you, your family, your current animal companions and Gandalf. <3 Christine. PS. I love Lord of the Rings. Such a great name for a beardie!

Heather, Awww.....Gandalf a Bearded Dragon. I really like the name but didn't know it came from 'Lord of the Rings' until I read through your memorial. I'm so sorry he is no longer in your lives, however, I know he is very much thought about. I understand how difficult bereavement is to go through. May you find things which bring emotional comfort to you. I recently created a memorial here. I hope you will visit. If you go to pet name and type in Fred (Boo Boo) he will come up in a search. His breed is Miniature Pinscher. Take care. Cari

To Gandalf, I know you are busy at the bridge. Enjoying all the warm sunshine and all the wonderful things to crawl on. Take a minute though and touch down with your sweet little claw and touch your mommy's heart. Let her know you are happy, healthy and whole again. Let her know you are watching over her and Gillie. Tell her although you can't be on her shoulder anymore, you know you will never be forgotten. All those wonderful memories you shared together are tucked safe and treasured in her heart. And when the time is right, you will meet her at the bridge, never to be apart again.

I am so sorry you lost your Gandalf. You never failed him, please don't ever think that. I know you feel like your heart is forever broken but don’t ever forget Gandalf will be right by your side watching over you (even in a dream). When I lost my heart dog- Sarah Sue, all I wanted to do is be with her, wherever she was. Sounds crazy to people who haven’t ‘been there’ so instead I sat at my keyboard and typed for hours her whole story from beginning to end. I keep it in a very special place. She went to Rainbow Bridge 8 years ago and I read it whenever I need her beside me.. They never do truly ever leave us. They take a piece of our hearts but leave us with a larger piece of theirs. My favorite quote: What we have enjoyed we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us." -- Helen Keller

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Gandalf. Please find comfort in knowing that Gandalf is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. On March 20, 2017 my sweet little calico Gabbi crossed over Rainbow's Bridge. I adopted her about a month after Spooky passed away and Gabbi also lived to be almost 16 years old. I am sure that Gandalf and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Heather, I’m sorry for your loss. Know that you are not alone. I, too, have lost a beloved pet; everyone in this website have. We know you’re hurting, and we’re here for you. We feel the pain that you feel; we’ve suffered the loneliness that you suffer, at not having our beloved pet by our side anymore. But we all feel the same relief---that where our beloved pets are now, they’re safe, and happy, and content, whatever afflicted them in this life is gone. And we all share the same hope---one day, we will be together again with our beloved ones. My baby, a female Beagle named River, left for Rainbow Bridge on March 21, 2017; here she is now---

Dear Heather, I understand this is a sad time for you I too know the heartbreak of losing a beloved friend and constant companion...so I understand how much Gandalf means to you. You were so lucky to have so many wonderful years together. Just remember that it is never really “Goodbye”, just “Until we’re together again”! And I pray that this thought will give your heart comfort and peace in the days to come when you think of your sweet Gandalf …. Now Gandalf waits for you to sleep at night and dream of him. His love continues to cross the Rainbow bridge and come to you all the time. My pups and I are sending you very – very special loving thoughts, prayers, positive energy, and petitioning the Universe to ease your heart pain and give you peace in the knowledge that you will see your little one again one day and that for now your sweet Gandalf is but a dream away…

Dear Gandalf, you are truly handsome. Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the heart of your mommy who misses you so much, and she will send her love right back to you on angels' wings. Dear Heather, your world has lost a very special family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed Home a very special soul. Feller is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Tashi, Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May his sweet presence continually nuzzle your heart until then, and may you find comfort in knowing that the silver thread of love that binds you heart to heart with Gandalf will never be broken. Many blessings and much peace, Clare and Martha...Please visit our Tashi at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/TASHI002/resident.HTM

Heather I am sorry for your loss of Gandalf. My Perseus went to Rainbow Bridge when he was 14. There are no more aches or pains. No rain only sunshine. Running and playing all day with the other furbabies. One day we will join them for all eternity at Rainbow Bridge.

For sweet Gandalf, I know that during your lifetime you gave Heather much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness playing in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at your photo and reading what Heather wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Gandalf I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and although he is a little dog he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For Heather, I just visited your Gandalf's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your precious angel. I am sure if asked, Gandalf would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Having lost my little dog Pedro I can understand how you must be feeling and how much you must miss Gandalf. Wishing you all the very best always, Rosalind (Pedro's Mom).

Heather-What better way than cherishing your beloved Gandalf than on his very own memorial page. Your life was enriched by such a beautiful soul and memories of which you've shared will become a source of comfort in your time of need and sorrow. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy on the passing your 'sweet Feller' and a bouquet of flowers to help brighten the moment.
