Hi Karen, I have just visited Gabrielle's memorial. I hadto have Topsy, my daughter, best friend and soul mate put to sleep on 4th January 2022 and only found this website on 28th December 2022. Like you and Gabrielle, the bond between Topsy and myself, was spiritual and so very loving. I have decided to visit the Memorials of all the 'furr children' of people in Australia who have loved and cared enough to create these beautiful sites. It's a long time since you lost Gabrielle, but at least you know she is not forgotten. Love, Lynne

Omgosh I felt my heart breaking when I read about Gabrielle. Like Gabrielle, Abby was our world. Like Gabrielle, Abby was our first pet in many moons. All the little things they do make them special. Like you, we long for our Abigail and things have been really tough this week since she passed on Sunday night. God's blessings on you and your family. I left a new ball of yarn for Gabrielle, hope she enjoys it as my Abby loved strings. If you would like to read about Abby, here is her link: http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ABIGA013/Resident.htm#PhotoAlbum

Hello Karen, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Gabrielle. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. One day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander & Zianna & have attached their link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZIANN001/Resident.htm

As Karen's partner I learnt very quickly the relationship she had with Gabrielle. While Gabrielle spent her day sleeping hidden from view at night she would appear and spend the night on Karen's lap. Karen would not move until Gabrielle decided she didn't want to lay there and she would disappear into the bedroom to get comfy on the bed. Although not a lover of cats over time Gabrielle would curl up on my lap and play little games with me. Over time I became used to coming second to Gabrielle and I didn't mind as she gave great happiness and companionship to Karen. As Gabrielle's last days grew near I knew this was going to be hard and in my own awkward way tried to make it better for Karen so that she may be able to make the hardest decision in her life. On that day Karen trusted me to, with care and respect, send her beautiful Gabrielle towards the rainbow bridge More than a tear was shed that day and I know Gabrielle with forever live in Karens heart.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Gabrielle. Please find comfort in knowing that Gabrielle is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. I am sure that Gabrielle and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

For sweet Gabrielle, I know that during your lifetime you gave Karen much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness at Rainbows Bridge. From looking at your photo and reading what Karen wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Gabrielle I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and although he is a little dog he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For Karen, I just visited Gabrielle's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. I am sure if asked, Gabrielle would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Having lost my little boy Pedro I can understand how you must be feeling and how much you must miss Gabrielle. Wishing you all the very best always, Rosalind (Pedro's Mom)

Dear Karen – I am so sorry for your loss of Gabrielle. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling so with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. I know you had a special relationship with Gabrielle that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girl, Bailey, found Gabrielle and they have become friends. May the precious love you shared with Gabrielle continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. Peace and blessings to you. G'day, pretty Gabrielle. My Grandpa asked me to welcome you to beautiful Paradise meadow and be your companion to chase bright rainbows and colorful butterflies. He has me give each new precious furangel from Downunder their own Australian flag for their new home in Paradise meadow. I'll take you to visit other little furangels from Australia so you will feel more comfortable and at home in Paradise meadow! I have many Australian furangel friends here in Paradise meadow...I'll introduce you to my good furangel kitty friend Cheryl from QLD. I'll give you angel wing lessons so you can visit Mummy in her dreams...she loves and misses you so and a visit from you will put big smiles on her face. C'mon, let's start the lessons now so you can go soon, pretty girl.

Hello, pretty Gabrielle, welcome to the meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Mummy loves and misses you so...she made you a beautiful place and wrote loving words about you. We asked our Pressy to welcome you and be a playmate to chase golden sunbeams and colorful rainbows and trade kitty love headbumps. She'll show you wonders of Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so Mummy hears your sweet meows and purrs and feels a soft touch of your kitty paw in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly until she comes to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask she not be so sad but treasure memories of you and remember you're curled up beside your pawprints deep in her heart forever. Play meadow games with other furangels but stop often to smile at Mummy so she feels the warmth of your love surround her and knows you miss her too and are with her. Soar among clouds on silvery new angel wings to watch over Mummy always, beloved Gabrielle. Pressy's Grandpa

Karen....my heart is literally aching for you...I am so sorry for the loss of your Angel Baby & also the loss of your Gabrielle!! What an awesome name....sounds to me like your beautiful kitty was YOUR very own Arc Angel!!! I lost my beloved Chase, a darling Pekingese that would have turned 17 years old in November, on July 20, 2014. He was the puppy love of my life & I still feel the loss every day. I will promise this, soon you will think of Gabrielle with smiles, not tears. Gabrielle is no doubt sunbathing in a beautiful meadow at Rainbow Bridge. Many puppy hugs to you!!

Dear Karen I'm sorry for the loss of your Gabrielle. I lost my Finnbar December 2012.I understand how hard it is to say goodbye. When its time you'll be together again just as it should be.Until then Gabrielle is waiting for you at the bridge along with Xena and Jaime-Lee, happy and healthy. There are new places to explore so much space to run like the wind all the good treats and when she needs a break, meadows to lie in the sun. She's having a ball with her new friends all the while still keeping an eye on you.I hope she's met Finn by now. He's a friendly little cat but he's scrappy and he can catch . If you would care to visit my Finnbar http://Rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Finnb001/Resident.htm
