Jerry, I just read your story of the love you and Faith shared. It moved me to tears. I have bred, raised, & sold Poodles. I've had a Poodle in my life every since I was 17. My Husband and I lost our precious" Raisin" just 3 days before Thanksgiving 2008, it nearly killed both of us. 11 days later we rescued a 9 week old tiny toy Black Poodle and named her Raisin, I believe she rescued US. She will be 9 in September. your letter and this site inspired me, so I will do this for her when it is her "time". Thank you for sharing. God bless you and Faith who you'll see again. Louann

Hello Faith, and what a pretty girl you are. I have been reading some of the different memories of the residents and came across yours. It seems that we people never get past the missing you, we do get better at handeling the loss and grief. But...we never stop loving and missing you. It has been said that when the bitter tears of grief and sadness, blend with the sunshine ways of love, there you will find your rainbow. So...now you run to the rim of the rainbow, smile down on dad, send him lots of love and hugs, and he will know that it is you, and that all is well. But now, it is time to run fast, play hard, and love always. Cheryl AKA Mom to Cyrano and the entire crew.

What a beautiful baby Faith is Jerry - Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your baby. I've had to have several of my babies put down also, so I know how very hard it is. I believe our babies know we will always carry them in our hearts. And if we do happen to get another baby (as most of us do) they know it's because they taught us how to love, and it makes them smile. ((hugs)) Karen If you would like, you can visit my baby at-http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/CALLI012/Resident.htm

Jerry, I just read Faith's Tribute you must have loved your Faith as I love my Misty. I had her for 18 years and I know now how the heart can ache for something we love like the kind of love we have for our babies. The way you feel toward your Faith was the same way I feel toward My Misty. She will be gone 4 weeks on Friday and I cry everday and I know it will take me a long time for my pain to ease. Just wanted you to know people still look at these Residencies from time to time and can understand the love and the pain we feel.
