Dearest Elton, It has been 13 years since your transition, and I am still blue. I hope I have learned a few things along the path of grief, and that Miles, Joelle and Samme are getting some of the benefit of the lessons, and that you will too in the future! Dearest Elton, It is now July 2016, 12 years since you left this plane. Gradually, I am getting more familiar with our special spiritual connection, which has always been there. Elton, my love, today I am remembering your passage 3 yrs ago, from the physical to the spiritual realm. You maintained your Buddha-like dignity until the very end, and I am honored to have been able to share that with you. Your spirit is very much alive with us, especially in the yard. Today, I added a lovely stone with a cat silhouette and your name engraved on it, to your site. I felt an immense peace, and celebrated our eternal connection of love. Elton my love: I am sitting here sending sympathy cards to others who have seen their loved ones go to the bridge......it brings me heartfelt peace to be able to help others, and I thank you for helping me to do this. I cry so often when I send the cards, remembering how I felt when you went to the bridge...I miss you being physically here, but also know that you are with me always. Your gift of love is eternal.....you are my soul mate and guide. I hope we meet again, soon....
