To Emma, I know you are busy running around wild and free in all those beautiful meadows. Enjoying the warm sunny days. Take a minute though and touch down to your daddy's heart. Let him know that you are happy, healthy and whole once again. Tell him you know you can't be by his side anymore but you know you will never be forgotten. All those wonderful, fun days you spent together are tucked safe and treasured in his heart forever.

Dear Paul: Please accept my witness, empathy and condolences as your friend Emma has died. I was so fortunate to stop by your wonderful memorial page and learn of your life together! Thank you for sharing so generously of how special Emma was. I know what you mean, when you have had other pets who you loved, but one really stole your heart and captured your imagination like your Emma did! Hoping the happy memories return to you soon. -Megan, Philadelphia PA (with Rinchen the Chow Chow and Dexter "Big Essie" the Bernese mountain dog)

Paul.....a beautiful tribute for a great friend. It is never easy to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. For whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon while leaving their forever pawprints within us. Emma is now healthy and playing with Oreo,Ralph and Eva while waiting for us to join them on the Bridge, they are gone from our site but never forgotten. I can send you my babies site if you wish to visit..take care..

Sorry for the loss of your sweet fur baby Emma. I lost Abby on 2/11/17 and I know how bad it hurts. I wish it were a bad dream then I realize she is really gone. I know you were a very good mama to Emma and just know that God took Emma in his arms and placed her on the lap of an angel. No more pain just lots of running and playing and I know Abby is right there to.

I'm sorry for your loss of Emma. Her spirit will always be with you. My Jax left us over 2 weeks ago but I know he is still around as his sister Pinky will do things that are out of her context but is something Jax would do and it's usually when I'm crying as if to say momma I'm right here. God Bless you during this painful process and may Emma's memories and spirit give you comfort.

Paul, I am sorry for the passing of your beloved fur-child, Emma, who was with you till her 16th year. I assume she is a dog (no breed indicated)! It is good that you were able to hold her as you said goodbye so that the last thing she knew was your love for her as she left this life for her new home in Heaven. She has indeed left a part of herself with you as all fur-children do: above all - years of the enrichment of having known her unconditional love - changing your life forever as no one else could. Some pets affect us more deeply when they pass - depending on the closeness of the bond we have formed with them: so there is more pain - the heavy price of love all parents cannot escape paying - sooner or later. Emma is the `one` who has touched your soul as no other could - and it will take time to recover. I see your loss occurred over 3 years ago and now you have found RB where parents and pets may all find sanctuary: resolution for grief: a place of healing - and remembrance.

I am so sorry for your loss of Emma. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling so with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. I know you had a special relationship with Emma that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girl, Bailey, found Emma and they have become friends. May the precious love you shared with Emma continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. Peace and blessings to you. My precious Bailey left our world December 5th, 2013 and we miss her so. Please visit my Bailey at http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/BAILE364/Resident.htm

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Emma. Please find comfort in knowing that Emma is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. I am sure that Emma and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Paul- Nothing prepares us for the depth of sadness that follows the passing of a best friend and companion. May those times spent with Emma bring warmth and comfort to your soul throughout this challenging time. I am so deeply sorry for your loss and left an endless food dish to go along side her water bowl at Rainbow Bridge.
