To Emerson, I know you are busy running wild in those beautiful meadows and enjoying the warm sunshine. Take a moment though and touch down on your mommy's heart, give daddy and Nana a little tap too. Let them all know you are happy, healthy and whole again. Let them know you can't be by their side anymore but you know you will never be forgotten. All those wonderful memories going back to you just following mommy on her dog walks are tucked safe and treasured in their hearts.

Hello, handsome Emerson, welcome to the meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Mommy and Daddy love and miss you so...they made you a beautiful place and wrote loving words. We asked our Pressy to help Sissy welcome you and be a playmate to chase butterflies and trade kitty love headbumps. She'll show you Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so Mommy and Daddy hear your sweet meows and purrs and feel a soft touch of your kitty paw in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly until they come to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask they not be so sad but treasure your memory and remember you're curled up beside your pawprints deep in their hearts forever. Play meadow games with other furangels but stop often to smile at Mommy and Daddy so they feel the warmth of your love surround them and know you miss them too and are with them. Soar among clouds on silvery new angel wings to watch over Mommy and Daddy always, beloved sweet Em. Pressy's Grandpa

The most wonderful gift God has given us is the love of a cat. Your wonderful fur baby, Emerson, is proof of that. May you someday be reunited at Rainbow Bridge to cross it together and enter Heaven. God bless you.

Hugo and Megan, I am sorry for the loss of your little angel Emerson. Oh yes, he is very handsome and smart. He knew if he shook his little tail that you would notice him. It was a perfect match when you adopted him. All the love and joy he gave you. Know he has transitioned and is still with you know because the bond you have is strong and cannot be broken. My Murphy also transitioned. He, too, gave me so much love and happiness. Not a day goes by that I don't think of him.

Dear Hugo and Megan, Please accept my condolences on the death of your friend Emerson! It's so hard to say goodbye, and I know it will hurt for a while before the happy memories start to return. I am so grateful to have been able to read about your life together, and I love the idea that he made a cat person out of you guys with his boundless love and steadfast companionship! Kitties can be so watchful and wise, and they are so missed when they leave us. I hope that knowing you are thought of helps to bring you peace as you grieve. -Megan in PHL, with Dexter "Big Essie" (Bernese mountain dog) and Rinchen (Chow Chow).

Hugo/Megan..Emerson is a beautiful boy..a beautiful tribute for a great friend. It is never easy to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. For whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon while leaving their forever pawprints within us. He is now healthy and playing with Oreo,Ralph and Eva while waiting for us to join them on the Bridge, they are gone from our site but never forgotten. I can send you my babies site if you wish to visit..take care..

Our furbabies leave such holes in our hearts when they pass, but there are two quotes that help me these losses: Dr. Suess..."Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." Gandhi..."There are no goodbyes for us, wherever you are, you will always be in my heart." Rest peacefully sweet boy. Shelly Habel

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Emerson. Please find comfort in knowing that Emerson is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. On March 20, 2017 my sweet little calico Gabbi crossed over Rainbow's Bridge. I adopted her about a month after Spooky passed away and Gabbi also lived to be almost 16 years old. I am sure that Emerson and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Hugo, Megan: I know the pain of losing a beloved pet. I have just lost my baby, a female Beagle named River, last March 21. But do you know? They’re now in paradise, safe and sound, in good health, playing their hearts out. From where Emerson is she can see your heart—how much you loved her and miss her. They’re just patiently waiting, just at this side of heaven, for that day when we will rejoin them to cross the Rainbow Bridge together, and our separation will come to an end at last. Let’s just move on, but the memories of our beloved pets live forever in our hearts. Just as Em taught you about the death process, she'll guide you how to move on. Here’s my River: https://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/RIVER002/Resident.htm

Hugo and Megan- Nothing prepares us for the depth of sadness that follows the passing of a best friend who enriched our lives and others as well. The emotional and physical closeness shared created a bond that remains for an eternity. May those days, months and years loving Emerson always bring warmth to your soul(s), I am so deeply sorry for your loss.

Emerson I am sorry for your loss. Hugo and Megan love you and miss you very much. My Perseus went to Rainbow Bridge when he was 14. There are no more aches or pains. No rain only sunshine. Running and playing all day with the other furbabies. One day we will join them for all eternity at Rainbow Bridge.
