I am so sorry for your loss. I do understand the love you had for your baby. It doesn’t matter if it’s a dog, cat, rabbit, lizard, turtle, horse - they all have amazing personalities and the ability to love us deeply.

I just stumbled across your tribute to Elliot and I had to respond. I lost my beloved bearded dragon, Ember, on Friday and I can't stop crying. My heart is broken. She was an amazing girl, as I can see your Elliot was, and I don't know how to find peace without her.As hard as things have been in life & the world, she was my rock, and I can't imagine going forward without her presence and without being able to hold her. People say it gets easier to bear. I'm doubtful. I know that I will find another dragon to love, because beardies are just part of me now, but there will always be a sorrowful longing for my girl. Please just know that there are so many people who understand your pain. I will be thinking of you and Elliot, and I hope he gets to meet Ember in whatever paradise they have found! Be well and always remember the joy they gave us. That wasn't taken from us, it's a gift that we get to keep forever. Please feel free to contact me if you need a shoulder. <3 Christine & Ember.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Elliot. Please find comfort in knowing that Elliot is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19 and Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20. Oh my he is so absolutely adorable! So amazing that you and he had such a close relationship. I am so very sorry he had to leave you. I pray now he feels good and will soon be happy. He needs to hear you call his name. Our babies love that. They need to know we still love them no matter where they are. And they so need to know that we miss them every day. I hve a fur baby sho just passed and I too am devastated just like you. I talk to him and I thank him for being in my life and making me so happy and giving us all such fun and joy. I also sing his favorite song to him everyday. I know he loves that because already two times at night I have felt him around me. So talk all your love to Elliott and perhaps he will come to visit you. He is always there with you just in a different form. They miss us so much.It takes time to heal and we feel so sad. I look for the time when smiles replace tears as I think of all the wonderful things. You will too. God bless you both.

From looking at your photo and reading what Michelle wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Elliot, I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and although he is a little dog he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends.
