I just wanted to thank you all who have taken the time to sign my babies' pages. I am sorry I was unable to write separately to each of you---I am going through some very hard times and just could not bear to do this with all the loss I have had in such a short period of time. But please know how grateful I am to all of you who took time to acknowledge their lives and send your kind words. God Bless---Jacqui

Jacqui, What another beautiful story to read. What a wonderful mommy Ellie was. She is just like you. All your babies are together looking down at you from the bridge. I love your last entry about celebrating, and honoring the life rather than focusing on the passing. I will need to remember this as I continue to heal from my own loss. Thank you for that.

Ellie, Precious has joined you at Rainbow Bridge last May 27. Look after him and make sure he's comfortable and settled. Look after your mom, Jacqui; she misses all of you. God, what a big family you are now at Rainbow Bridge! See if you can find my River; she's a Beagle but gentle with cats. Pls. tell River I miss her so.

Hi Ellie I visited you once before when you first arrived at the bridge. I'll bet you were thrilled to welcome Slater to the bridge. I know that you two are doing well and feeling great. Please take a minute to send your mom a kiss on the winter breeze. She misses you so much. If you run into a little cat with big ears named Finnbar give him a kiss for me. I'm a little lost without him.

Dear Ellie, beautiful girl, we know that you met Slater at the Bridge and that you and he are watching over your mommy with so much love. Jacqui, your precious ones, Slater and Ellie, are right there with you, tucked in your heart, and watching over you, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together one day in God's time. May their sweet presence grace your heart and home with love, peace and comfort until that day dawns, and you're together again. Blessings, Clare and Martha

"God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your blessed furangel, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your face and a chuckle to your heart as you remember how your baby’s paw prints touched your life, be the ones that bloom in your heart this Holiday Season. My prayer for all of us this blessed season, is that each of our babies wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us during the Holidays. May you catch a glimpse of your special sign, just when your heart needs it the most....And may each love-filled memory you have of your beloved Ellie bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your baby-angel would want for you this year...God bless, and best wishes for you and your family this Holiday Season, Karen (Dusty, DJ, Patches, and Momma’s mom) http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/DUSTY101/Resident.htm

I am crying as i read this. I lost my cat 5 days ago. I cannot stand the pain sometimes. i use to dress him up and he would sleep with me at night and kneed me. I too have other cats but he was my boy. How long does it take for the pain to ease?

Your page makes me cry, too. I know and understand how hard it is to lose a beloved friend. Your REAL friends will understand and not question your grief. How hard it is, to see them going downhill and know there is nothing you can do to help.Felicia, too, used to come and sit and look into my face, like she knew she would be leaving me. I hope that Ellie and Felicia will be happy at the Rainbow Bridge, and will be there when we come to meet them again, and then they will be well and young again. When you are feeling sad, you can always drop me an email. I have a lot of good poems about kitties to share.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Ellie. Please find comfort in knowing that Ellie is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I am sure that Ellie and Spooky have become good friends. Just recently on January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. Spooky never met Hannah but I am sure Spooky greeted Hannah at the bridge. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Hello Jacqui, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Ellie. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. One day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander & Zianna & have attached their link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZIANN001/Resident.htm

To precious Ellie, a new angel at the Rainbow... I’m sure that with your new feather-soft guardian angel wings, you now so lovingly watch over your family back here. And I just know, too, that you’ve found the coziest & softest places to take your sunshine filled Rainbow-colored cat naps, haven't you... May butterflies grace your dreams as you sleep… And may each time you look up and see that wondrously magical Rainbow, may you know that Jacqui & all those who loved you back here have helped make it shine a little brighter for you. How? With their tears, sweet baby. You see, each love-drop filled tear here has mixed with the sunshine there at your new home, and your Rainbow shines even brighter for you now..... An old Indian proverb: "The Soul would have no Rainbow if the Eyes had No Tears" says it best... You now find rest in the Arms of God's very own Angels...what more could have ever been wished for you? What more could have ever been wished...Rest well, little one.
