Justin, I guess I didn't sign Edgar's guestbook. But I have read Edgar's story many times and love how you tell his life's story. I'm sorry his life was cut short. He sounds like he was a great kitty.

I had to contact you after reading about your cat - i am so very very sorry for your loss and boy was he a fighter and obviously much loved. i have lost many cats, the last one was last week. she had a heart attack 9 days previous and seemed to be recovering well. always sleeping with me and eating well. i went out for a few hours to come home to see her back legs had gone. took her to vets for second opinion to be told she had a rare disease - she came home after and spent a few hours by the fire and then all of a sudden gasped. it was like she came home to spend a few hours with us and say good bye. she died in my arms before i could have her put to sleep. i miss her so much. maybe another cat will come along for you. although i have 6 more, another turned up the evening i buried gemma. this cat is on meds but so affectionate and looks very much like my gemma. We will never forget them and am sure we will meet them again. xxx

Hello Justin, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Edgar. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. One day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander & Zianna & have attached their link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZIANN001/Resident.htm

To precious Edgar, a new angel at the Rainbow... I’m sure that with your new feather-soft guardian angel wings, you lovingly watch over your family back here. And I just know, too, that you’ve found the coziest & softest places to take your sunshine filled Rainbow-colored cat naps, haven't you... May butterflies grace your dreams as you sleep… And may each time you look up and see that wondrously magical Rainbow, may you know that your family here has helped make it shine a little brighter for you. How? With their tears, sweet baby. You see, each love-drop filled tear here has mixed with the sunshine there at your new home, and your Rainbow shines even brighter for you now; even this very moment..... An old Indian proverb: "The Soul would have no Rainbow if the Eyes had No Tears" says it best... You now find rest in the Arms of God's very own Angels...what more could have ever been wished for you? What more could have ever been wished...Rest well, little one.

Oh Edgar, how beautiful you are! I do hope you find happiness, comfort and joy at Rainbow Bridge. Please continue to send your love down to Justin, who is missing you so! My sweet girl, Chili, passed over on 4/29/13 and I have been completely heartbroken, as I know your beloved family is. We loved you both so very much! There will always be a hole in our hearts until we meet up with you again at the Bridge. Until then, please look for my Sweet girl. Give her a kiss and cuddle for me. We were blessed to have you both in our lives. Thanks for gracing us with your unconditional love. Sincerely, Lauren. If you would care to visit my sweet girl, Chili, please go to: http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/CHILI001/Resident.htm

Justin, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy.....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. We are sure that beautiful Edgar and Nikki Mae have become good friends and are now having so much fun playing and running again. Please visit our Nikki Mae at: http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/NIKKI115/Resident.htm

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Edgar. Please find comfort in knowing that Edgar is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. Spooky never met Hannah or Sammi but I am sure that Spooky greeted Hannah and Sammi at the bridge. I am sure that Edgar, Spooky, Hannah, and Sammi have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Hi, Justin! Your memorial page for sweet Edgar is beautiful, as are your words about him. I love all of his photos and wish I could have met your best friend. I love reading what other kind-hearted people have written here. They too, have prayed for their animals to meet and become friends with Edgar. I admit I cried reading them. There are many kind people in the world who care. I think those who love animals with all their heart are the kindest. I'm confident Edgar has many many friends in Heaven. I know he is happy and he thinks of you. May the happiness Edgar and his friends share in Heaven reach your heart and comfort you in your sadness. One day it will be a great reunion. God bless you Justin! I won't forget Edgar even though I never met him in person. Your friend, Whit

Hi Justin: I loved the idea of Edgar chasing starmice. I hope to catch him in the act when I get there. You are a great writer as well. I'm sorry for your loss. It's never easy. Every time I think I can handle a good-bye of any sort, I find myself back to square one, crying and sad. Miss Roxie, my yorkie and I have a radio show about love. Our Holiday project is to spread the word about the Rainbow Bridge and get volunteers. We are honoring furry friends almost every week. If you are interested, please send me one of Edgar's best poses and a bio. It will be on the website and on the radio. We kick it on 11/30 on Kiss FM NYC. If not, look for me at the bridge. I'll be the one with bunny ears and fairy wings and leopard sunglasses. LOL
