Deanna, your words and memories of Duke are beautiful, just like he is. What a wonderful blessing it was to have had him in your life, bringing love and happiness to you each and every day. Now all the furbabies at the rainbow bridge are enjoying Duke's great personality! My two rainbow kitties, Inky and Bubba Lou, were there to welcome Duke to heavenly sunshine and I am sure my kitties have fallen in love with your precious angel. We will be reunited with our babies at the rainbow bridge someday. Blessings of healing and comfort, dear friend. I understand and care. Jane

My Sidney was on the bridge to welcome Duke to his new home. They are chasing sunbeams and telling "tails" of their great lives. I have asked them to send you a rainbow from heaven above, a upside down smile. When you miss Duke the most, listen to your heart, his love is there.

Deanna, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy.....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. We are sure that beautiful Duke and Nikki Mae have become good friends and are now having so much fun playing and running again. Please visit our Nikki Mae at: http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/NIKKI115/Resident.htm

Hello Deanna, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Duke. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. One day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander & Zianna & have attached their link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZIANN001/Resident.htm

Dear Deanna, sending my condolences for your loss of Duke - he is handsomely proud and this does very show in your wonderful picture of him. Our very first family dog was named Duke - a classic name it is and very well suited for your wonderful Duke. Please remember that Duke has only departed physically so, and that his wonderful glowing spirit will always be where you are watching over you, at your side showing you loving reminders and hints that he is still around in presence. Duke's love is forever alive in your heart. Sweetest Blessings Always

Dear deanna my best friend and love. Please don't be sad..we dogs have such a short life span compared to our humans. The first time we look into each others eyes we know it will be necessary some day to say a loving goodbye. But all the time in between. The walks the hugs the kisses those glorious meals the treats laughter the good times the bad ones we shared them together. I had my own person to love and what a run we had together our trips swimming a bit the boat and car rides. I made you laugh and hope I was a support and confort in difficult times. We had so much fun with all the toys. Please remember all our times together not that I can no longer be here but I lived and I had what all dogs desire my own loving person. I am but a second away..in the rain a moonbeam the stars on a warm desert night. The butterfly on the rose. I am in your heart always. Your loving duke as told to jule. My thoughts and hopes are with and the wonderful duke. Best jule

For Deanna, I just visited Duke´s rainbows bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. In January I lost my little boy Pedro. Losing Pedro has taught me that no matter how much time has passed, our love for our furbabies never goes away. Looking at the beautiful residency you created for Duke I can see that he came from a very warm and loving home. Wishing you all the best always, Rosalind

Duke, you are so handsome! Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the heart of your momma who misses you so much, and she will send her love right back to you on angels' wings. Deanna, your world has lost a very special furperson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed home a very special soul. Duke, Mr. Toys, is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May his sweet love continually hug your heart until then. Blessings and peace, Clare and Martha....Please visit our Katy at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/KATY004/resident.HTM

Hello, handsome Duke, welcome to the sunny meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Momma loves and misses you so...she made you a beautiful place and wrote loving words about you. We asked our Pressy to welcome you and be a playmate to chase golden sunbeams and colorful rainbows and give you special kitty love headbumps. She'll show you wonders of Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so Momma feels your loving presence with her and sweet kisses in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly until she comes to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask she not be so sad but treasure memories of you and remember you're nestled beside your pawprints deep in her heart forever. Play meadow games with other furangels but stop often to smile at Momma so she feels the warmth of your love surround her and knows you miss her too and are with her. Soar among clouds now on silvery new angel wings to watch over Mommy always, beloved Mr. Toys. Pressy's Grandpa
