I so understand your pain! My Draco kitty succumbed to stage 4 kidney failure. I blame myself to, as I learned more about nutrition for cats, but he loved that dry kibble. He was 13. Egyptian Mau's should live longer. I got him when he was 9 months old. He was a smoke Mau. The breeder just gave him to me. I have had numerous surgeries due to work injuries. I worked in Law enforcement and it beat up my body. With every surgery (all outpatient) Draco would not leave my side for 2 days. My vet kept telling me it was time. I said NO! Draco will tell me when it's time. He did. One weekend he started hiding (he was indoor only also). His last night I had to take a bed apart to get to him. I let him hide in my walk in closet. I put down food, water, and a heating pad. He stopped eating, drinking, and yowled in pain. His yowl woke me up and I will never forget it. When the time came, I held him and told him this wasn't goodbye, it was see you later. It's been a year and I miss him so much!

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Delilah. Please find comfort in knowing that Delilah is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. I am sure that Delilah and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Hello, pretty Delilah, welcome to the meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Daddy loves and misses you so...he made you a beautiful place and wrote loving words about you. We asked our Pressy to welcome you and be a playmate to chase golden sunbeams and colorful rainbows and trade kitty love headbumps. She'll show you wonders of Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so Daddy hears your sweet meows and purrs and feels a soft touch of your kitty paw in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly until he comes to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask he not be so sad but treasure memories of you and remember you're curled up beside your pawprints deep in his heart forever. Play meadow games with other furangels but stop often to smile at Daddy so he feels the warmth of your love surround him and knows you miss him too and are with him. Soar among clouds now on silvery new angel wings to watch over Daddy always, beloved sweet girl. Pressy's Grandpa

Hello Cliff, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Delilah. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. One day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander & Zianna & have attached their link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZIANN001/Resident.htm

Dear Cliff I'm sorry for the loss of your Delilah. What a beautiful tribute for a beautiful girl. I lost my Finnbar December 2012.I understand how hard it is to say goodbye and I know how crippling the grief can be.When its time you'll be together again just as it should be.Until then Delilah is waiting for you at the bridge happy and healthy. There are new places to explore so much space to run like the wind all the good treats and when she needs a break, meadows to lie in the sun. She's having a ball with her new friends all the while still keeping an eye on you.I hope she's met Finn by now. He's a friendly little cat but he's scrappy and he can catch. If you would care to visit my Finnbar http://Rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Finnb001/Resident.htm

When someone we love goes to the other side, it's natural to wonder if we failed them in some way...but I urge you to remember all the great times and great love that you gave Delilah and forgive yourself for any real or imagined neglect. She knew you loved her, and she wants you to be happy for her and for all those great memories. My heart goes out to you in the loss of that beautiful, precious furbaby, and I pray that you will soon have peace in your grief.

Delilah I am sorry for your loss. Cliff loves and misses you very much. My Perseus went to Rainbow Bridge when he was 14. There are no more aches or pains. No rain only sunshine. Running and playing all day with the other furbabies. One day we will join them for all eternity at Rainbow Bridge. Toni

Dear Cliff - I am so sorry for your loss of Delilah. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling so with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. I know you had a special relationship with Delilah that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girl, Bailey, found Delilah and they have become friends. May the precious love you shared with Delilah continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. Peace and blessings to you. My precious Bailey left our world December 5th, 2013 and we miss her so. Please visit my Bailey at http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/BAILE364/Resident.htm

CLIFF SORRY ABOUT DELILAH

Dear Delilah, you are purrfectly beautiful. Please go to the Bridge and purr your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the heart of your daddy who misses you so much, and he will send his love right back to you on angels' wings. Dear Cliff, your world has lost a very special furpurrson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed Home a very special soul. Dilly is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Tashi, Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May her sweet love continually nuzzle your heart until then, and may you find comfort in knowing that the silver thread of love that binds you heart to heart with Delilah will never be broken. Many blessings and much peace, Clare and Martha...Please visit our Tashi at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/TASHI002/resident.HTM

For sweet Delilah, I know that during your lifetime you gave Cliff much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness at Rainbows Bridge. From looking at your photo and reading what Cliff wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Delilah I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and although he is a little dog he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For Cliff, I just visited Delilah's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. I am sure if asked, Delilah would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Having lost my little boy Pedro I can understand how you must be feeling and how much you must miss Delilah. Wishing you all the very best always, Rosalind (Pedro's Mom)
