My deepest sympathies to you on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 6 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

Cindi, I am so very sorry for the loss of your wonderful Dasiy. How adorable! I know the pain you are feeling as I just lost one of my best friends and companions of 16 years, Willy in January. It hurts so very badly, and I know my tears are still flowing. I know though, that Daisy and Willy are probably playing in the meadows running and jumping now. I know Willy loved the sunshine and I hope that she does too. I truly believe that God would not have made a Heaven without our beloved companions there to meet us. I have left an extra angel to look over Dasiy, as they are our special angels watching over us. I hope that your pain begins to turn to peace that fills your heart with nothing but wonderful memories. They make the days become a little less heartbreaking knowing that their hearts are always with ours. God Bless You until we all meet again. We lost our sweet Bella to the same thing. I wish there wuold not have been any blood, I died when she did. But now knowing she will have your baby to be with, it makes it a bit better. until we meet them again.

Cindi, I just visited Daisy. What a horrible thing to have happened. She was beautiful. I know the pain of losing a beloved pet. I lost my precious bichon, Amor July 1, 2010 to cancer. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, in time we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time.
