"God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your blessed furangel Courtney, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your face and a chuckle to your heart as you remember how your baby’s paw prints touched your life, be the ones that surround you this Holiday Season. My prayer for all of us this Christmas season, is that each of our babies wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us during this blessed season. May you catch a glimpse of your special sign, just when your heart needs it the most....And may each love-filled memory you have of your beloved fur-angel bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your baby-angel would want for you this year...Best wishes for you and your family this Holiday Season, Karen (Dusty, DJ & Patches mom) http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/DUSTY101/Resident.htm

My deepest sympathies to you on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 6 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Courtney. Please find comfort in knowing that Courtney is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I am sure that Courtney and Spooky have become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Nicole, I just visited your beautiful Courtney, I enjoyed the pictures and loved the story of her life, it brought tears to my eyes. I know how hard it is to lose a beloved pet, even two years later, they are still with us everyday and will always be in our hearts. I lost my precious Bichon, Amor July 1, 2010, its easier for me now but I still miss Amor and think of her everyday. I know now you are smiling just remembering all the love and joy Courtney gave you so freely. When you are ready, I'm sure you'll love another little furry friend. I started over with two little sisters, 1/2 Yorkie and 1/2 Westie, they are not Amor but are truly gifts from God. They are 6 months old and behave just like Courtney did when she was young. Please visit Amor at Rainbow Bridge to see my little girl. Take care, God bless. Eleanor http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/AMOR001/Resident.htm

My sincere sympathy on the loss of your beloved Courtney. It's so hard to say goodbye, especially when you have basically grown up together. You obviously have some wonderful memories and I hope those help to ease the pain of your loss.

Nicole, what beautiful loving memories. I am so very sorry that Courtney had to leave to cross the bridge. They are not lost, just waiting for us. One of my best friends and companion of 16 years, Willy, went to the bridge in January. My tears still flow when I think of him. I know though, that she and Willy are probably playing in the meadows, running and jumping now. I know Willy loved the sunshine and I hope that she does too. I truly believe that God would not have made a Heaven without our beloved companions there to meet us. I have left an extra angel to look over Courtney, as they are our special angels watching over us. I hope that your pain begins to turn to peace that fills your heart with nothing but wonderful memories. They make the days become a little less heartbreaking knowing that their hearts are always with ours. God Bless You until we all meet again. I would love for you to visit Willy at http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/WILLY010/Resident.HTM

Dear Nicole and all of Courtney's earthly family, your words and pictures brought tears to my eyes because all of your memories tell a beautiful love story. It's so easy to see how much Courtney was loved and how much love she gave in return. It breaks our hearts when our little soulmates grow old and leave us for the rainbow meadow but we know that they go to a beautiful place. I know and understand the sorrow you are going through for I lost both of my furkitties two weeks apart after having them for many years. I will tell my Inky and Bubba Lou to find sweet Courtney and they will play like kittens and puppies in heaven's sunshine. We will be reunited with our babies at the bridge someday. May precious memories of all the joy Courtney brought to your lives heal your broken hearts and may God bless you with comfort and peace.

Hello Nicole, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Courtney. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on there memory and begin to celebrate there life. Please take comfort in knowing that one day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander in July 2008 & have attached his link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm

I just visited your doggie's site and I am crying as I read. You spent your whole life with her. What a joy and what pain. I lost my two standard poodles; one 39 days ago from bone cancer and the other 12 days ago from liver cancer. I am dying without them. One was almost 13 and the other 14, Clyde-Bailey and Zoe, from Pennsylvania. It's like a tsunami came and swept them out of my life together. I am shattered, and although intellectually I know it gets easier, this is not an intellectual thing. I pray for all of us that the pain lessens and the memories stay strong and colorful always. There is nothing like the love of a dog. I will leave her a present.

Courtney - How adorable you are and what a great life you lived with your family! Send the family some signs, kisses from the Rainbow to let them know that you are safe, happy, healthy and will have many friends. Let Nicole know that God has appointed you to be her guardian, protector to watch over her until she is called to the Bridge to join you one day. I will tell my Brande to find you and play with you. To Nicole - I send you my heartfelt sympathy over the loss of Courtney. I too lost my soulmate not long ago, see Brande at http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BRAND167/Resident.htm - We know that God has promised we will be with our babies again one day. I leave this quote with you, "heaven is the only place where all the dogs and cats you have ever loved will come running to meet you." Author Unknown

Courtney, you are so beautiful! Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the heart of your mommy who misses you so much, and she will send her love right back to you on angels' wings. Nicole, your world has lost a very special furperson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed home a very special soul. Courtney Puppy is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May her sweet love continually hug your heart until then. Blessings and peace, Clare and Martha....Please visit our Katy at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/KATY004/resident.HTM
