I lost my Lancey recently. She was 15 and she found us at the local animal shelter where she had an awful “lion hair cut” and we were told she was a mutt, but when we cleaned her up and let her fur grow, she was a beautiful flat-coated retriever. She loved to swim, chase critters, and take rides. But her best trait was scouting ahead and never leaving me behind. She had an amazing talent of finding me no matter where I was and would whine with happiness at the sight of me. I miss her terribly and had a wonderful time thinking about Cory and Lancey chasing critters together. Thank you for sharing.

“God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your sweet Cory, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your heart as you remember how your baby’s paw prints touched your life, be the ones that surround you this first Holiday Season without your beloved furbaby. My prayer for all of us this Christmas season, is that our babies will wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us during this blessed season. May you catch a glimpse of your special sign, just when your heart needs it the most....And may each love-filled memory you have of your beloved fur-angel bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your baby-angel would want for you this season. Best wishes for you and your family this Holiday Season, Karen (Dusty, Momma, DJ & Patches mom) http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/DUSTY101/Resident.htm

What a beautiful story. I loved getting to share in Cory's history and love that you picked her of the 3! I love her friendship with Fuzzy and love the thought of her being her spirit guide.

Hello Rishona & Frank, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Cory. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. One day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander & Zianna & have attached their link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZIANN001/Resident.htm

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Cory. Please find comfort in knowing that Cory is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. I am sure that Cory and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan
