So sorry for you loss
From: Jacqui
On: 9/29/18

I just wanted to thank you all who have taken the time to sign my babies' pages. I am sorry I was unable to write separately to each of you---I am going through some very hard times and just could not bear to do this with all the loss I have had in such a short period of time. But please know how grateful I am to all of you who took time to acknowledge their lives and send your kind words. God Bless---Jacqui

Jacqui, I just left Lucky's memorial and just finished reading life with your Comet. I think this is your path taking in all these babies that need a very special loving and caring mommy. I know this must be a very difficult calling for you but it seems that this is what you are meant to do. I have fostered for dogs for several years and for some reason I was chosen to take the sick and dying. So I understand this path that we have been put on. It comforts me to know that you are there for all these babies in need. Don't ever change who you are.

Comet, you seem to be the earliest at Rainbow Bridge. Just know that Precious has joined you there last May 27, 2017. Welcome him and make him comfortable. My River, a female Beagle, got there last March 21, 2017. She's gentle with cats; never hurt one in her life. Pls. find her and tell her I miss him so. Comet, I left a cozy bed here for River; she's used to sleeping in it. Pls. make sure she gets it. And your mom, Jacqui, she misses all of you. Look down from the Bridge and look after her.

Dear Jacqui, I came to visit Comet. Our heartaches never really go away. Time may pass but sometimes it feels like just yesterday. Be comforted Comet is completely healed and is enjoying playing in the meadows again with no more aches or pains. I've left him a delicious piece of salmon steak for his enjoyment.

Dear Jacqui, what a difficult year you have gone through! I'm so sorry that you have had to deal with all this heartache, but so happy for all your kitties. They have a very devoted guardian! Thank you for inspiring me with your dedication and love and may God bless you so that you can continue your loving care.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Comet. Please find comfort in knowing that Comet is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. Spooky never met Hannah or Sammi but I am sure that Spooky greeted Hannah and Sammi at the bridge. I am sure that Comet, Spooky, Hannah, and Sammi have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

So sorry to hear of your loss. I lost Cooper, my Yellow Lab, in Sept. Please know that our furbabies are not gone, just waiting for us in a better place. The Good Lord would not give them to us for such a short time only to take the away forever. Take care, Kim

Dear Jacqui, Comet was your beautiful companion and will be waiting for you one day. Sorry for your loss. I know your heart is as broken as mine. I lost my maltese, Snoopy Jr. on 1/21 and it is still fresh and sharp.

I am very sorry for your loss. May all the Good memories and joy shared with Comet bring you comfort. I know No words can adequately express the Bond that is created and the oneness we feel in our hearts as we travel with our four legged companions on this journey. The lessons of life that they teach us are above any price and the love they share cannot be fathomed by those that have never opened their hearts to a true friend we have been given.

I don't understand (or perhaps I just don't agree with) the poem that says that the deceased doesn't belong in heaven....Why not? I certainly believe that animals go to heaven too. I wouldn't want a heaven that didn't allow all creatures. Even if it means I have to endure insects for eternity.

Your beautiful tribute to Comet brought tears to my eyes, and my heart goes out to you in your loss. May you be comforted by knowing how well you loved your precious, beautiful catboy, and how comfortable and whole he is now, at the Rainbow Bridge.
