Hello there handsome Cody, I was just visiting some of my babies here at the bridge and came across your residency and wanted to stop in for a visit. I see that in a couple of months you will be celebrating your 10th anniversary in heaven. I have two babies that will be celebrating their 10th year also this year. Don't forget to send your mom a bright and shining night star so she will know that you are with her always just inside her heart no matter how much time may pass.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Cody. Please find comfort in knowing that Cody is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I am sure that Cody and Spooky have become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Your story about your baby was beautiful. I lost my puppy Bullet yesterday. I am considering this as his virtual home. It is peaceful.

"God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your blessed furangel Cody, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your face and a chuckle to your heart as you remember the way your baby's tender love touched your life, be the ones that surround you this Holiday Season. My prayer for each of us this Christmas season, is that each of our babies wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us this Holiday season. May you catch a glimpse of your special sign, just when your heart needs it most.... And may each love-filled memory you have of your beloved furbaby bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your fur-angel would want for you this year ... With best wishes for you and your family this Holiday Season, Karen (Dusty, DJ & Patches' mom) http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/DUSTY101/Resident.htm

I'm so sorry for your loss...we just lost our family baby, Cody, a black lab. She was 14 and old age had robbed her of everything but her spirit...the loss is so hard as we think of her every day. She offered an unconditional love that no one person can ever replace. I hope you find peace with the loss of your baby...and maybe both of our Codys will find one another and play!

Dear Precious Cody, I met your momma in the chat room last night to discover we live so close together. Cody, your darling pictures in the ocean remind me of my Zeke when he played in the ocean. May both of you now play in the beautiful Atlantic together never to be separated by a short distance. Cody, your momma loves you and misses you every day. Send your mom sweet hugs and kisses and if you dont mind, a little sign will do. Love, barb (Mommy to Zeke and Magnum)

Hello Carlie, Reading your memories of your precious Cody reminded me a lot of my angel Stuart and brought a smile to my face. He too was just a little guy when I got him and enjoyed his time in a laundry basket as well! I hope your pictures and wonderful memories of Cody will be of comfort to you. Heaven is a little brighter with him there and I'm sure he is playing in the sand, surfing the waves, and running free with his new friends waiting for the time when he will meet up with his mommy again. Sharing your sadness, Sandra. Please visit my angel Stuart at http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/STUAR002/Resident.htm

I've never known a dog as unique as Cody. He was very special. I know I can't possibly miss him as much as you, but I do miss him and I will never forget him. Love, Dad

Hello, handsome boy, your mommy's heart and soul, she loves and misses you so much, she hurts so badly. When we love someone so deeply it is so hard to move on, our love is eternal and our bond immortal. You seem such a smart dog, Cody, don't you think it's time you sent some signs to her, so she will know that you are safe and well, maybe my babies could teach you how to catch a rainbow or just a beautiful butterfly. Remind her that maybe she should look upon her loss in another way- that it was in dying that you were born to eternal life. One day when her time comes you will be right there, waiting for her at the end of the tunnel, you will run to her, she will take you in her arms and everything will be well again. Dear Carlie, what a beautiful boy, just remember he is never more than a breath away. xoox

Although I was only in his presence once, I remember the day Cody strutted into my office and his size dominated the room. But what dominated the room most, was his play-fullness and his kind spirit, just like his mom.

My deepest sympathies to you on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 8 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

I just lost my soulmate, Cookie on 7/6 and it was a very sad day for me. I know what you are going through. I found so much comfort knowing Cookie is at Rainbows Bridge. And all the families here have helped in my healing. I will always miss my furbaby and still cry when I come home from work and she is not here to greet me. They change our lives forever. Please know you are not alone. I do believe we will see them again one day. Cody, please look for Cookie in the meadow. She will make a great friend and playmate. God Bless!

Welcome to the Bridge! I know you're busy making friends, romping around playing, and laughing so hard you just can't stand it, but don't forget to take the time to let your family know you're okay and thank them for the wonderful life they gave you...
