Hello, my name is Paul and I came across your beloved Chimo's tribute tonight and wanted to express my condolences. I too have had Chow's with my own passing on October 24th of 2010 and I miss her terribly. Although I live in BC, Richmond Hill was home for a number of years and I still cottage in Haliburton, so we share more than the love for those Chow chow's. I hope your heart is mending and for you to know a visit was made tonight to see Chimo and to wish you well. Take care. Paul

"God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your blessed furangel Chimo, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your face and a chuckle to your heart as you remember the way your baby's tender love touched your life, be the ones that surround you this Holiday Season. My prayer for each of us this Christmas season, is that each of our babies wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us. And may you catch a glimpse of your baby's special sign to you, just when your heart needs it most.... May each love-filled memory you have of your beloved furbaby bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your fur-angel would want for you this blessed season.... With best wishes for you and your family this Holiday, Karen (Dusty, DJ & Patches' mom) http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/DUSTY101/Resident.htm

That's a lovely tribute. We also have fond memories of Chimo spying on us through the fence when we were out gardening. He was always the curious one. We was always a welcome face in the window whenever we came to visit. We will miss him.

OMG what a start when I visited Chimo's memorial page, he could be my Bear's brother - check out his page. Of course I offer my sympathy for your loss - I know how much it hurts to lose them and that part of your heart is never the same, but I did have to chuckle as I read because some of my memories would be the same. How does he get out of there? but his passion was socks and kleenex. I hope the memories you have give you comfort. I know we will see them again. Oh and mine wasn't a bite on the nose, but a skunk spray.

Lin and Jim and Terri... I am sure there isn't much I could say to help with the void you have with Chimo's absence, but I know for a fact that he lived a good life, he lived a LONG time enjoying that good life - and if all the doggies we have loved are together, he will have fun with my little Nesta, Rylee and my Rula...not to mention my precious Trina who left us far too soon. I think you were exemplary 'parents' for Chimo and that he was a lucky boy the day you showed up at the kennel to get him. Very lucky... My heart and my condolences... I know how you're feeling and time will help but you'll always hear that snort just when you least expect it... a voice from the heart and mind... a voice of love that you enjoyed for 14.5 years. God bless you all and little Chimo... he was lovely and clever and a highly decorated Chow Chow... good stuff on the CGC etc!!! You are everything I could ever want in a chow family. xxxooo much love, Christine

Chimo, What a beautiful baby you were, always so loyal and loving. You taught and gave your family so much that they now know the true meaning of unconditional love. They long for the day to be able to hold you and to look into your eyes again. I know just how grateful you are for all of love and care in which they provided you. They miss you baby, so very much. I know that you don't want them to be sad for too long, but instead, be happy. For you are happy, content at peace and have been surrounded by so many others who also love and adore you, including my Shayna Girl, Leche and Si. I extend my deepest condolences to you for the loss of Chimo, I know just how painful it is to have lost your angel, for, I too, lost mine. Please vist my Shayna Girl at: http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/SHAYN005/Resident.htm. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Until we are with our babies again. Shayna, Leche and Si's mommy, Lisa

Chimo - You are a handsome guy and you have left many fond memories with your family! Send mom and dad some signs, kisses from the Rainbow to let them know that you are safe, happy, healthy and will have many friends. Let Lin and Jim know that God has appointed you to be their guardian, protector to watch over them until they are called to the Bridge to join you one day. I will tell my Brande to find you and play with you. To Lin and Jim - I send my heartfelt sympathy to you over the loss of Chimo. I too lost my soulmate not long ago, see Brande at http://www.rainbowbridge.com/residents/BRAND167/Resident.htm - We know that God has promised we will be with our babies again one day. I leave this quote with you, "heaven is the only place where all the dogs and cats you have ever loved will come running to meet you." Author Unknown
