Just stopping by to wish you well, Elaine... As the warm weather of Summer approaches, I'd like to offer a quote I stumbled on some time ago... Perhaps, when you look at the stars each night, you can begin to think of your sweet Chewie and the other pets you've lost, in a loving new way....God bless....Here is the quote : "Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy. " ~Author Unknown [ From Karen / Dusty's mom]

Chewie, you LingLing and Chippie are all together again. I hope you enjoy your new healthy badies and have fun with all the furr babies at the bridge.

"God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the most joyous and happiest of memories of your sweet Chewie be the ones that you remember this month of December. May it be those very memories, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your face, that surround you this first Holiday Season without your baby. May those memories bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one of the little presents that your furbaby guardian angel would want for you this year.... May God bless you and your entire family this wonderful Holiday Season. With best wishes, Karen....Dusty's mom.... http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/DUSTY101/Resident.htm

My deepest sympathies to you on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 8 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write or talk on the phone please let me know. I will be there for you. Pat Lively

Elaine May you find hope in the knowlegde that one day you will be reunited with Chewy on streets paved with chocolate, with perfect bodies and brains, and no problems communicating. By then, Chewy will have all the best routes of chocolate paved out, and you can eat the finest chocolate to share to your hearts content. No oops, I slipped, or effects of aging. Only pure, unconditional love, as it was meant to be. Until then, take solace in the fact that she is no longer suffering. You will never have another Chewie, and time does not heal all wounds, but it does lessen them. Till then, let your human friends help ease the pain. Day or night, we are here. Love, Sue

Oh Chewie, how your name was so appropriate for the way Elaine describes you on your beautiful tribute page here...it sounds like you just liked to chew up everything in your path, little baby! How you brought such joy to Elaine's life...such laughter...I can just picture you now at your new Rainbow home, just sniffing out all the nooks and crannies there, looking for toys, sweets, and anything else to sink your sweet teeth into, 'eh baby? Elaine will be missing you a lot, sweet Chewie... so learn the magical ways of the Rainbow from my kitty, Dusty-from another sweet kitty Pressy, from a little doggy named Caleb, from some other doggies Brande, Kata, and Chico--they'll each teach you some of the different magic of the Rainbow...listen closely when they teach you to blow kisses to Elaine, and how to visit her gently in her dreams...until then, rest well in God's loving arms, sweet baby Chewie...with heartfelt sympathy, Karen (NJ)

Chewie - what great personality and motivation you have! You really kept your house buzzing! Send your family some kisses from the Rainbow and let them know you are safe, happy, healthy and will have a lot of fur friends to play with now. Let Mom and Dad know that God has appointed you as guardian and protector of them until they are called to the Bridge to join you one day. I will tell my Brande to find you and play with you. Brande will show you where the candy is stashed up there. To Elaine - I send my heartfelt sympathy to each of you. I too lost my soulmate not too long ago, see Brande http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BRAND167/Resident.htm We know that God has promised we will be with our babies again one day. I leave this quote with you, "heaven is the only place where all the dogs and cats you have ever loved will come running to meet you." Author Unknown

Good Morning, pretty Chewie, welcome to the forever sunny meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Your family loves and misses you so...they made you a beautiful place at RB. We asked our Pressy to welcome you and be your playmate to chase golden sunbeams and crickets and give you kitty headbump kisses and nose rubs. She'll be your big sister to show you wonders of the bright Paradise meadow and teach you how to send love signs on the wind to your family so they'll feel your sweet doggie kisses in the gentle evening breezes. You're now their shining star guardian angel until they come to cross the Bridge to be together again for all time. We'll ask they not be so sad but treasure memories of you and remember you're in their hearts forever. Run to play happy games with the other furbabies but stop often to smile down on your family so they'll feel the warmth of your love and know you love and miss them too and you're with them always. Rest well with the other angels, beloved Chewie. Pressy's Grandpa

I am so sorry about the passing of Chewie. While I understand your food and other articles will now be safe from Chewie, you would rather have her with you - chewing anything she wishes. I am so sorry for your loss. Lovingly,

Hi Chewie. How beautiful you are.Welcome to Rainbow Bridge.Everything is all right because it is another beautiful day.In this wondrous place you are young again and free from pain. Look for my little ones ,I am sure they would love to be your friends. What a great time you will all have playing tag and hide and seek in the beautiful meadow, snoozing in the forever sunbeams, and eating a never ending supply of treats.Your family misses you sooo much. Come to them in their dreams and let them know you are well and happy. Send them sweet"Chewie"kisses on the wind. Although you are no longer with them you are forever in their hearts. The many beautiful memories of your time together will, in time, help to ease the pain. You are their Guardian Angel now. Watch over them from the Bridge until the day you can be reunited. Sleep softly little one. You are missed and sooo loved.Elaine, I feel your pain, but I know none of us would have wanted to miss The Dance.God Bless.
