"God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your blessed furangel Chester, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your face and a chuckle to your heart as you remember the way your baby's tender love touched your very heart, be the ones that surround you this Holiday Season. My prayer for each of us this Christmas season, is that each of our babies wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us this special season. May you catch a glimpse of your special sign, just when your heart needs it most.... And may each love-filled memory you have of your beloved furbaby bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your fur-angel would want for you this year ... With best wishes for you and your family this Holiday Season, Karen (Dusty & DJ's mom) http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/DUSTY101/Resident.htm

I too had a Birttany that I loved very much. Reading what you wrote made me cry as I thought about how much I miss my Tucker. He died just ten days ago, and I already find myself wondering how long it will be before I stop crying myself to sleep at night, wishing so bad I could have him back, even if just for long enough to say goodbye. You see, I never got to say goodbye because Tucker was hit by a car when he got out of the house. I was chasing him and it happened right in front of me. He was only 2. That nightmarish image still haunts me. I bet he would have loved your Chester. Tucker never met a dog he didn't love. I hope they find each other and have a good time playing together.

Hi Karen I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Chester. I have also just recently lost my Zander in July 2008 so I know how you are feeling. I know that someday we will be together again with our beautiful companions. If you get some free time I have attached Zander's link, take care. Sincerely Diane http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm

My deepest sympathies to you on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 8 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

To precious Chester, a new angel at the Rainbow... I can just see you now with your feather-soft guardian angel wings, watching over your family back here. And I just know by now you've had a chance to look around for the coziest & softest places to take your sunshine filled Rainbow-colored doggie naps, haven't you... And each time you look up and see that wondrously magical Rainbow, may you know that your family has actually helped make it shine a little brighter. How? With their tears, sweet baby. Each love-drop filled tear here has mixed with the sunshine there at your new home, and your Rainbow shines even brighter for you now..... An old Indian proverb: "The Soul would have no Rainbow if the Eyes had No Tears" says it best... You now find rest in the Arms of God's very own Angels...what more could Karen have ever wished for you? What more could have ever been wished.......from Karen/Dusty's mommy

Sweet Chester, I did not know you, but I am so sad with your passing. Mommy is so sad with your passing. You were loved and adored by so many. You will never be missed. You and your mommy are in my prayers. You leave behind so many precious memories and pictures, you would fill up many books. Rest easy my sweet baby, I will ask my bunny girl Bun to say hi, nuzzle you, and tell you its ok to rest, you will never be forgotten, I shed a tear everyday for her passing, its been 3 1/2 months, and I miss her more as each day passes. Chester, please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the heart of your mommy who misses you so much, and she will send her love right back to you on angels' wings. Karen, your world has lost a very special furperson, and heaven has gained a very special soul. Chester is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as BG is watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May his sweet love continually hug your heart until then. Clare & Martha....Please visit BG at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BG001/resident.HTM

Chester - What a great guy and how loyal to mom you were! Send her some signs, kisses from the Rainbow to let her know that you are safe, happy, healthy and will have many friends. Let Karen know that God has appointed you to be her guardian, protector to watch over her until she is called to the Bridge to join you one day. I will tell my Brande to find you and play with you. To Karen - I send my deepest regrets to you over the loss of Chester. I too lost my soulmate not long ago, see Brande http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BRAND167/Resident.htm - We know that God has promised we will be with our babies again one day. I leave this quote with you, "heaven is the only place where all the dogs and cats you have ever loved will come running to meet you." Author Unknown

Chester, What a precious baby you were, always so loyal and loving. You taught and gave your mommy so much that she now knows the true meaning of unconditional love. She longs for the day to be able to hold you and to look into your eyes again. I know just how grateful you are for all of love and care in which she provided you. She misses you baby, so very much. I know that you don't want her to be sad for too long, but instead, be happy. For you are happy, content at peace and have been surrounded by so many others who also love and adore you, including my Shayna Girl and Leche. I extend my deepest condolences to you for the loss of Chster. I know just how painful it is to have lost your angel, for, I too, lost mine. Please vist my Shayna Girl at: http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/SHAYN005/Resident.htm and Leche at http://www.rainbowbridge.com/residents/LECHE001/Resident.htm My thoughts and prayers are with you. Until we are with our babies again. Shayna and Leche's mommy, Lisa

Welcome to the bridge Chester...how are you today? Hey, guess what?? There's NO cancer at the bridge. Isn't that GREAT??? You are going to make many friends at the bridge. And there's so much for you to do. You get to chase bunnies, butterflies & take long naps in the sun. Just make sure you send your mommy lots of smooches so she knows you are OK. There's a large group of Rotties to your left. They know all about cancer. And I know they would love to play with you. So go find them...ask for Cole. To Karen...we're extremely sorry for your loss. It's never easy letting our babies leave us but we do because we love them so very much. Hold your memories close to your heart until you meet your Chester again. http://RainbowsBridge.com/Residents/COLE002/resident.htm

Hello, handsome Chester, welcome to the forever sunny meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Mom loves and misses you so...she made you a beautiful place and wrote loving words. We asked our Pressy to help Jill and Humphrey welcome you and be a playmate to chase sunbeams and rainbows and give you her special kitty love headbumps. She'll help show you wonders of Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind to Mom so she feels your loving presence and sweet kisses in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly until she comes to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask she not be so sad but treasure memories of you and remember you're nestled beside your pawprints in her heart forever. Play happy meadow games with other furangels but stop often to smile at Mom so she feels the warmth of your love surround her and knows you miss her too. Soar among clouds now on silvery new angel wings to watch over Mom always, beloved Chester Cheese man. Pressy's Grandpa
