Hello Preston & Robert, As time passes and you begin to reflect on memories of your beautiful Charles. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. One day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander & Zianna & have attached their link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZIANN001/Resident.htm

Dear Preston and Robert, My prayers are with you on the passing of your Mr. Charles. He was such a beautiful Boy and obviously deeply loved. You gave him such a wonderful life and It is not easy losing our loving companions. I completely understand the pain and grief that you are experiencing and you are not alone. Would like to share this poem read during Princess Diana's memorial. "Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity." (Henry Van Dyke) Hope that the many memories of Mr. Charles will continually provide you with comfort, he will always live in your hearts and memories forever. If you would like, please feel free to visit my Baby's memorial. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/CHEST037/Resident.htm. Sending love and light, Nelson

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Charlie. Please find comfort in knowing that Charlie is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. I am sure that Charlie and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

I'm sorry for the loss of your Charles. What a handsome guy. I lost my Finnbar December 2012.I lost my Rocky in March. I understand how hard it is to say goodbye. When its time you'll be together again just as it should be.Until then Charles is waiting for you at Rainbowsbridge happy and healthy. There are new places to explore so much space to run like the wind all the good treats and when he needs a break, meadows to lie in the sun. He's having a ball with his new friends all the while still keeping an eye on you.I hope he's met my boys by now.Finn is a friendly little cat but he's scrappy and Rocky is the sweetest gentle giant. If you would care to visit my guys http://Rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Finnb001/Resident.htm http://Rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Rocky303/Resident.htm

Preston and Robert- What a beautiful love story you've shared...may glorious memories of Charles always bring warmth to your souls as your hearts begin to heal. When pain and suffering outweighs the benefits of living, take comfort knowing you last act of kindness was freeing his spirit and reuniting with Mattisse and Monet. The trio of balloons I have left at Rainbow Bridge symbolizes the loves of your life. I am deeply sorry for your loss.

Robert & Preston, What wonderful memories you have written for your Charles! I am so sorry for your loss. You must miss him terribly. I almost felt I knew him as I looked through his photos! The words he sent you to comfort you should be cherished for ever. He will have many other ways of expressing his ongoing love to his parents who always cared so much for him. I`m so sorry he went through kidney failure. The `responsibility grief` that sometimes follows euthanasia often manifests as guilt - irrationally - as you did the last kind thing for him instead of prolonging his suffering. `Let your heart and spirit heal` are Charles` words of love to you. He would not want you to be in pain any longer than it takes for you both to come through your grief. The pain you now suffer is the measure of your love for him: the price we pay when we go through an emotional/spiritual amputation. In time the wound will heal. Full healing of all your sorrow and pain will come in Heaven - with Charles.

Charles I am sorry for your loss. Preston and Robert love and miss you very much. My Perseus went to Rainbow Bridge when he was 14. There are no more aches or pains. No rain only sunshine. Running and playing all day with the other furbabies. One day we will join them for all eternity at Rainbow Bridge.

Hello, handsome Charles, welcome to the meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Your family loves and misses you so...they made you a beautiful place and wrote loving words. We asked our Pressy to help Matisse welcome you and be a playmate to chase colorful rainbows and give you special kitty love headbumps. She'll show you wonders of Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so your family feels your loving presence with them and Charles kisses in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly until they come to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask they not be so sad but treasure your memory and remember you're nestled beside your pawprints deep in their hearts forever. Play meadow games with furangels but stop often to smile at your family so they feel the warmth of your love surround them and know you miss them too and are with them. Soar among clouds on silvery new angel wings to watch over your family always, beloved sweet Mr. Charles. Pressy's Grandp

Dear Charles, you are truly handsome. Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the hearts of your family who miss you so much, and they will send their love right back to you on angels' wings. Dear Preston and Robert, your world has lost a very special furperson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed Home a very special soul. Charles, along with Mattisse and Monet, is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Tashi, Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May their sweet love continually nuzzle your hearts until then, and may you find comfort in knowing that the silver thread of love that binds you heart to heart with Charles, Mattisse and Monet will never be broken. Many blessings and much peace, Clare and Martha...Please visit our Tashi at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/TASHI002/resident.HTM

For sweet Charles, I know that during your lifetime you gave Preston and Robert much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at your photos and reading what your family wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Charles I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For Preston and Robert, I just visited Charles' Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your precious furangel. I am sure if asked, Charles would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Having lost my little dog Pedro I can understand how you must be feeling and how much you must miss Charles. Wishing you both all the very best always, Rosalind (Pedro's Mom)
