I do apologize for distressing you at this critical time in your life. I am sorry you took it all that way. I never meant to make you feel inept or angry. Things happen and I know that. I also know how life- threateningly painful it is to lose a beloved family member. So please accept my apology. I guess I was upset because you had to leave her behind when all she wanted was you. I cannot relate to that so do not punish me for the feelings I have. Be well anyway. And dearest Callie too.

On my first day meeting Callie, she already loved me. That's how I knew she had a wonderful father. On my weekly visits to your family home, she would sometimes sleep in my lap, without any beckoning required. I was baffled when you told me that she went on outdoor nightly excusrions and would always return home. Sure enough, we'd go for walks around your neighborhood and she would follow us down the street. I had never walked a cat before then, and I haven't since. There was something comforting about her just being there, as though she was guarding us from the terrors of nightfall. Callie had nothing to be angry or sad about in her life, because she always had a warm lap waiting for her, even after you moved out. She was held, loved, kept safe and warm, and she seemed perfectly content with every moment of every day. No matter when we saw her, she was curled up in her bed or rolling on her back in full display of her visitors. She was lucky to have met you. And I, her.

I am so sorry for your loss of Callie. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling so with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. I know you had a special relationship with Callie that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girl, Bailey, found Callie and they have become friends. May the precious love you shared with Callie continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. Peace and blessings to you. My precious Bailey left our world December 5th, 2013 and we miss her so. Please visit my Bailey at http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/BAILE364/Resident.htm

James: A love story with so much meaning and forever and always describes Callie's memorial page. There is no doubt Callie is effortlessly running throughout the lush meadows at Rainbow Bridge where she sprints after chase-worthy friends (for which I am gifting) and sunbathes in the gentle lavender-scented breezes. Allow this image to bring peace into your soul as you continue on your journey. The energy of love never dies, James. You'll feel her connection for an eternity.

Hello, pretty Callie, welcome to Paradise meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Your family loves and misses you so...they made you a beautiful place and wrote loving words. We asked our Pressy to welcome you and be a playmate to chase colorful butterflies and trade kitty love headbumps. She'll show you Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so your family hears your sweet meows and purrs and feels a soft touch of your kitty paw in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly until they come for you to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask they not be so sad but treasure your memory and remember you're curled up beside your pawprints deep in their hearts forever. Play meadow games with other furangels but stop often to smile at your family so they feel the warmth of your love surround them and know you miss them too and are with them. Soar among clouds on silvery new angel wings to watch over your family always, beloved sweet baby. Pressy's Grandpa

James, I cried reading your words. I can only imagine the pain you’re feeling right now. You are auch a good person - and she seems just as good a kitty. I am glad you two found each other and were there for each other. The pictures say it all, she is so amazing. Let her know you’ll be okay... you’ll carry the memories with you... and the connection will not end. Take good care of yourself!

Dear Callie, how purrfectly beautiful you are! Please go to the Bridge and purr your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the heart of your daddy who misses you so much, and he will send his love right back to you on angels' wings. Dear James, your world has lost a very special furpurrson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed Home a very special soul. Callie is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Jackie, Callie, Tashi, Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May her sweet presence continually nuzzle your heart until then, and may you find comfort in knowing that the silver thread of love that binds you heart to heart with Callie will never be broken. Many blessings and much peace, Clare and Martha...Please visit our Jackie at https://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/JACKI010/resident.HTM

For sweet Callie, I know that during your lifetime you gave James much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness playing in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at your photos and reading what James wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Callie, I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and although he is a little dog he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For James, I just visited your Callie's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your precious Fur Angel. I am sure if asked, Callie would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Having lost my little dog Pedro I can understand how you must be feeling and how much you must miss Callie. Wishing you all the very best always, Rosalind (Pedro's Mom).
