Bill and Hillary, I just now found your page. I remember when I found out about Buddy, how sad it made me. Losing a pet is always difficult, however when it is unexpected and sudden, it makes it very difficult. I have always been a fan of both of you, and I remember thinking what a cool dog Buddy was. I've lost a Yellow Lab (Molly) and a Black Lab (Hailey) over the years. I don't think there is any pain in the world worse than losing child--whether that child has two legs or four. I still tear up when I think of certain pets that I've lost over the years. I hope this finds both of you well and prospering. While you will never replace Buddy, I hope you have another 'four-legged human" to keep you company. ~Steve Grimes

i remember hearing about what happened to buddie.i lost my border collie bonnie on 6-4-2011.and am devastated beyond words.my life since then has been lonely, at times i cant function or think straight. i left an abusive marriage and she was one of the only things that i was able to take. her dying could not have been a worse time in my life, i had her for 12 years, she was a part of me that i cannot be replaced.her and i were one. she was always there for me and i for her. when we let our pets into our lives.they become a member of the family.we dont understand how they affect us until they are gone . tina

Time helps to heal, but we never forget the love and unconditional acceptance given to us by one of God's greatest gifts - our pets. Hopefully your Buddy is playing with our Sara and showing her the ropes of the "whitest house." Peace and blessings to you.
