I was touched by this. I just lost my Bandit too.. but your words left me feeling like it might be less painful eventually. I met my Bandit in Lancaster as well. I'm sorry for your loss. I hope time has eased some pain.

Bandit is beautiful. I'm sorry for your loss. I enjoyed your memorial for him. I just lost mine (Biff - bulldog) and I had to go get the ashes too....and I cried miserably just getting his ashes and was embarrassed, but couldn't stop crying. I still can't stop crying. Oh well. Thanks for your memorial of Bandit. I can see that you loved him too.

Dear Lil' Bandit.....Your mommy has told me so many stories about you; I feel as though I know you. I hope you are having a good time in Doggy Heaven. Give my Zoey a big sloppy kiss if you can get her to slow down long enough. I know she's tearing it up around there.

Your page touched me greatly... I just put down my 3-year old JRT yesterday morning, and I haven't been able to function, or stop crying... Every word you wrote expresses exactly how I feel, down to the fur on my clothes, his bad breath, and the nose marks on the windows... I am dreading the "final call" from the Vet to "pick him up", because it won't be the happy, joyous return I'm used to. I'm so sorry for your loss, but know that I found comfort in your words. He was the most unique dog I've ever met... And his personality was 100 times the size of his body. I will miss him forever :(

I understand your pain--Jack's are the sweetest creatures in all creation--Feb 12 will be 10 years since my girl Bingo died in my arms and the wound is still raw. All dogs are wonderful, Jack Russells are even more so.

Bandit - Your mom is missing you so much and now that I have seen your picture I know why! You are such a cute little man! Send her some kisses from the Rainbow to let her know that you are safe, happy, healthy and have made many friends at the Bridge. Let mom know that God has appointed you to be her guardian, protector to watch over her until she is called to the Bridge to join you one day. I will tell my Brande to find you and play with you. To Wendy - I send you my deepest regrets over the loss of Bandit. I too lost my soulmate not too long ago, see Brande http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BRAND167/Resident.htm - We know that God has promised we will be with our babies again one day. I leave this quote with you, "heaven is the only place where all the dogs and cats you have ever loved will come running to meet you." Author Unknown

Bandit, you are so gorgeous! Wendy, he is your very own special angel, watching over and for you, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May his love nuzzle and hug your heart until then.

I am about to have to put my beloved Regina down - maybe tomorrow and I cannot sleep tonight because of the pain of it. I don't know how you all have done this. I am so sorry for your grief. Your dog was beautiful. Regina is half Jack Russell / half Bull Terrier and my best friend in the world. Hoping things are better for you by now.

Bandit - what a beautiful baby you are and I can tell your mommy still misses you so much. Wendy - Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your furbaby. I had to have my baby put down not too long ago so I know how very hard it is. I believe our babies know we will always carry them in our hearts. And if we do happen to get another baby (as most of us do) they know it's because they taught us how to love, and it makes them smile.
