I am so sorry for your loss of Buttons. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling so with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. I know you had a special relationship with Buttons that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girl, Bailey, found Buttons and they’ve become friends. May the love you shared with Buttons continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. My precious Bailey left our world December 5th, 2013 and we miss her so. Please visit my Bailey at http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/BAILE364/Resident.htm

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Buttons. Please find comfort in knowing that Buttons is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th, 2001, after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13, Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19, Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20, Firefly 12/20/22, and Zachary 02/19/23. I am sure that Buttons and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

What a darling boy! My prayers go out for you in the loss of your precious Buttons, and I thank you for sharing the sad details of his early life. How terrible that he was not surrendered for adoption much, much earlier! But bless you for giving him as good a life as possible under the circumstances.

Arline - I am so sorry for your loss of Buttons - Wow, such a story and patience from you - You did a fantastic job working with him daily to get him to the point where he was. I'm so sorry he had to pass - but, he had a good life and he took your love with him as he entered Rainbow Bridge. I offer you my hugs, peace & prayers to help ease your pain. Blessings, Nancy

Dear Arline, I'm sorry for your loss of Buttons. You must be a very kind, special person to have taken Buttons in. Although he did get a bad deal in life, he ended up with someone who truly loved him and cared. Phyllis

Arlene.. I had a similar situation with my mothers dog after she passed. This dog eventually let me near him but bit everyone else in my family. He too, became ill and I am glad he allowed me to cuddle him before he left for The Rainbow Bridge. Maybe he and little Buttons are romping and playing and chasing butterflies. Godspeed sweet Buttons.. you really were a GOOD dog inside.(((hugs)))

Arline: Yet another example of an angel on earth, rescuing Buttons from existence into a life of meaning. Despite his inabilities to cope in the best way he knew how, you loved and cared for him until he took his last breath. With that, he unknowingly took a piece of YOUR heart and strength beyond the clouds and over the rainbow. Now, with his siblings, he shares a piece of you that shall never be forgotten. Perhaps this is how you've earned your wings, too. Thank you for making a difference in this tangled world. In loving memory, I am gifting a blanket for all to share.

Hello, Handsome Buttons, welcome to Paradise meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Mommy loves and misses you so...she made you a beautiful place and wrote loving words. We asked our Pressy to help your meadow fur family welcome you and be a playmate to chase bright rainbows and give you kitty love headbumps. She'll show you Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so Mommy feels your loving presence with her and sweet kisses in gentle breezes. You're now another guardian star shining brightly until she comes for you to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask she not be so sad but treasure memories of you and remember you're nestled beside your pawprints deep in her heart forever. Play happy meadow games with other furangels but stop often to smile at Mommy so she feels the warmth of your love surround her and knows you miss her too and are with her. Soar among clouds now on silvery new angel wings to watch over Mommy always, beloved sweet Buttons. Pressy's Grandpa

Dear Buttons, what a sweet boy you are. We know that you're watching over your mom with all the love in your heart and that you will be at the Bridge one day in God's time to take her home with you forever. Dear Arline, you did the very best you could for Buttons, and your love certainly shines through in what you have shared with us. Please know that Buttons loves you so much and will be waiting for you at the Bridge with your other precious ones. God bless you with peace and comfort until the day dawns when you're together again. Rainbow hugs, Clare and Martha

For sweet Buttons, I know that you had a very difficult and sad lifetime. I also know that you deserved much better. Now that you have crossed the Rainbows Bridge I am wishing for you what you truly should have had all along. What every living creature deserves. May eternity find you happiness playing in that meadows that are on the other side of the Bridge. Hopefully, you will meet up with my little dog Pedro and the two of you will become the very best of friends. For Arline, I can only imagine how difficult it must have been for you but it sounds like you did your very best and nobody can expect more than that. My heart breaks for what both you and Buttons had to suffer. Sending you a huge Rainbow hug, God Bless, Rosalind (Pedro's Mom).
