Dear Buster Elmer, we know that you met Wilbur Bud at the Bridge and that the two of you are watching over your family with all the love in your hearts. Gail, please know that your precious ones are always with you and will be at the Bridge one day in God's time to take you home with them forever. Buster - You are a good looking guy with such beautiful colors in your fur coat of blonde and grey! You have left your family many endearing memories! Send your family some signs, kisses from the Rainbow to let them know that you are safe, happy, healthy and will have many friends. Let Mom and Dad know that God has appointed you to be their guardian, protector to watch over them until they are called to join you at the Bridge. To Gail and family - I send my heartfelt sympathy to you over the loss of Buster. I too lost my soulmate not long ago, see Brande at http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BRAND167/Resident.htm - We know that God has promised we will be with our babies again. I leave this quote with you, "heaven is the only place where all the dogs and cats you have ever loved will come running to meet you." Author Unknown

Gail,, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy.....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. We are sure that beautiful Buster Elmer and Nikki Mae have become good friends and are now having so much fun playing and running again. Please visit our Nikki Mae at: http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/NIKKI115/Resident.htm

They will not go quietly, the pets who've shared our lives. In subtle ways they let us know their spirit still survives. Old habits still can make us think we hear them at the door Or step back when we drop a tasty morsel on the floor. Our feet still go around the place the food dish use to be, And, sometimes, coming home at night, we miss them terribly. And although time may bring new friends and a new food dish to fill, That one place in our hearts belongs to them.... and always will. - Author unknown. I am so sorry for your loss but I do hope that this poem offers you some comfort. Blessings………………….. Joyce

To precious Buster Elmer, a new angel at the Rainbow... I’m sure that with your new feather-soft guardian angel wings, you now so lovingly watch over your family back here. And I just know, too, that you’ve found the coziest & softest places to take your sunshine filled Rainbow-colored naps, haven't you... May butterflies grace your dreams as you sleep. And each time you look up and see that wondrously magical Rainbow, may you know that all those who loved you back here have helped make it shine a little brighter for you. How? With their tears, sweet baby. You see, each love-drop filled tear here has mixed with the sunshine there at your new home, and your Rainbow shines even brighter for you now..... An old Indian proverb: "The Soul would have no Rainbow if the Eyes had No Tears" says it best... You now find rest in the Arms of God's very own Angels...what more could Gail have ever wished for you? What more could have ever been wished...Rest well, little one.

Dear Gail and Family, all of your babies are beautiful and what a wonderful blessing you were chosen to be their earthly parents! It's so easy to see by your words and memories that each and every one of your Cockers are very loved. Now sweet Buster Elmer has gone to the rainbow meadow where he has made many new furfriends who love him. My two kitties, Inky and Bubba Lou, the lights of my life, were there to welcome Buster and I just know they have already fallen in love with his sweet and gentle ways. Our babies know that they will be reunited with their earthly families someday. When we cross the rainbow bridge and they come running to greet us, we will be with them forever more. Until then, may happy memories of Buster bring healing to your hearts and may God bless you with comfort and peace. I understand and care. Jane

My deepest sympathys to you and your family. Rescuing an animal is one of the most wonderful feelings we can have, and knowing that we gave him a good full life and he in return left permanent paw prints in our heart. I was with my Mother on the 27th of December as she held her rescued baby Jordan and let her go and cross the bridge. This was not the first pet my parents have lost, but this was the first that they were able to be with up until the end. Even though they are grieving now, as you are, they are finding comfort in knowing that they gave Jordan the best they could. You should also find comfort in that. I told my Mom to visualize Jordan crossing the bridge, and Tim and Dug on the other side waiting for her. Now you know that Buster did not cross the bridge alone that day, he had othes by his side, and there were others on the other side waiting for him.

Buster, you are so handsome! Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the hearts of your mommy and daddy who miss you so much, and they will send their love right back to you on angels' wings. Gail, your world has lost a very special furperson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed home a very special soul. Buster, your precious little "Bustamonte", is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May his sweet love continually nuzzle your heart until then. Blessings and peace, Clare and Martha....Please visit our Katy at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/KATY004/resident.HTM
