I just saw this page. Sending you love, Amy. What a beautiful boy he was. Just today I learned I could open photos on my iphone and search the word 'cats' and all the cats I've camera captured came up, including the ones I've loved and said goodbye to. Somehow I think it's especially difficult to have had your buddy, anyones cat buddy, be the sole companion during lockdown, and lose them while still isolated. It was for me, anyway. So I understand these special circumstances. I'm not sure my heart will ever unbreak over losing Bella, and it will be 2 years in August. I'm equally certain I was really, really fortunate to have her with me for so long, and it gets easier. They teach us to love, don't they? Anyway, thinking of you and sending you love.

Our cherished pets live every day just to give us their love. And I understand how hard this loss must be. Buddy was a great guy! And I still miss Hollis. This is a very nice tribute to a great cat, and longtime friend.

Amy...a beautiful tribute to a great friend. Buddy is a beautiful boy. It is always hard to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us. I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Buddy. Please find comfort in knowing that Buddy is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19 and Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20. For sweet Buddy, I know that during your lifetime you gave Amy much joy. Now I am wishing you lots and lots of happiness playing in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at your photos and reading what Amy wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Buddy, I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and although he is a little dog he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends.
