To my furry friend whom I love so much, a lifetime with you is never enough. You’ve always been my best friend, and even though you’re gone that never will end. You were always there right by my side, for whatever I did and whatever I tried. There could never be another quite like you, I knew you were for me when I first saw you. I know you’ll look down and watch over me, and when my times comes I’ll make sure you’re the first I’ll see. I can never forget you whatever I do, this is because I will always love you.

Oh what a beautiful fur baby! She is a very special little girl. What a good rescue story which makes her super strong, smart and so worthy of special love, which it sounds like you gave her and still are. I am so sorry you had her for such a short time. She is better now but missing you. They mourn losing us just as we mourn for them. I too just lost my angel so I sing his favorite songs to him and I talk my love every single day. I feel connected when I do and I pray he hears and it makes him feel better. They need to know we still love them and there is still a place at home for them. The pain of the loss of our best little friends is so devastating and there is nothing that makes it better. That love is so priceless and not replaceable even with another furbaby. That one angel gave you a very special love only she could give. Yes we all rescue more but it never makes the loss feel better. Sing & talk to Brulee and listen for her too...she is always there. Be well

Hi Susan and Tim. Thank you for posting your amazing story about Brulee. You gave her a loving family and she in return gave her love. Losing such a beloved family member, companion, fur baby is devastating. I can relate as my house is much quieter, at times feeling empty after losing my own sweet girl. Our fur babies give us so much. Burlee spread her love around to everyone she met. Such a joyful girl. It is my hope as you hold memories of her dear to your heart you find comfort from them.

Dear Susan & Tim, My heart is saddened with yours in the loss of Brulee. Having been a dog owner/lover all my life, I know the deep heartache we feel when we lose one so precious to us. I do hope, with time, the sadness will ease and in its place will be some joyful memories of Brulee that will make you smile or laugh again. Blessings, Dianna

10 Things I learned from Brulee - Take a nap after you eat. It helps you enjoy the meal. And celebrate the lack of hunger in your life. - Even if your tail is broken wag it proudly when people look at you. It is one of your most unique features. Make them smile. - All people are your friends - don't assume otherwise. - Enjoy any soft spot. If safe then relax. - Bond with your toys. They are there to please you and you to enjoy them. - Time means nothing. Wag your tail if you have not seen someone you love for minutes or days. - Your teeth are not a reflection of your beauty. They are a symbol of your life's struggles. Smile and let the world learn your past. - Curling up in your pop's lap at the end of the day is the best prep for whatever tomorrow brings. - Having a brother your own size is a hoot. He can chew on you and you him. - People who don't love you can. Just smile and wag your tail - it will bring them over.

I am so sorry for your loss of Brulee. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling so with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain.
