Hi Pamela and Hope. I love the pics you posted of Brooklyn. She did have a wonderful smile and such a sweet face. I love the description you posted of her. Could help but smile when I saw the smiling pic. Our fur babies give us so much. They can be the best teachers. They often help us see and appreciate the now moments we have in life. I hope you both will allow yourself to be comforted and find joy in the memories you had Brooklyn created and shared together.

What an incredible smile!!!! She is so beautiful and so sweet and that face....I am so so sorry for your loss. What an angel. I pray she is better and will soon be happy. Our babies miss us as much as we miss them so it is important to talk to them everyday no matter what. It helps them to adjust and gives us a great feeling of connection. Life will not be the same without her.. so special she is. But you carry her in your heart forever and she will be there for you always and is probably there right now. I know I just lost my baby and I yearn for just a touch and the sound of that special voice. It is so hard and seems so cruel. But I would not have wanted him to have another day of any pain or discomfort. We seem to take away their suffering and then ours begins. Keep the memories warm with talking and pictures everywhere....I am sending warm hugs to Brooklyn and to you too. God Bless you all. Be well.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Brooklyn. Please find comfort in knowing that Brooklyn is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19 and Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20. I am sure that Brooklyn and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Dear Pamela, My heart is saddened with yours in the loss of Brooklyn. Having been a dog owner/lover all my life, I know the deep heartache we feel when we lose one so precious to us. I do hope, with time, the sadness will ease and in its place will be joyful memories of her that will make you smile or laugh again. Blessings, Dianna

I am very sorry for your loss of sweet Brooklyn. She is fortunate to have a family who loves her so much, and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers as you adjust to new routines without your precious pup. I hope the joyful memories bring some comfort during this difficult time. Play hard at the Bridge Brooklyn and find all the sticks in the world to play with.
