"God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your blessed furangel, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your face and a chuckle to your heart as you remember how your baby’s paw prints touched your life, be the ones that bloom in your heart this Holiday Season. My prayer for all of us this Christmas season, is that each of our babies wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us during this blessed season. May you catch a glimpse of your special sign, just when your heart needs it the most....And may each love-filled memory you have of your beloved Brinkley bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your baby-angel would want for you this year...Best wishes for you and your family this Holiday Season, Karen (Dusty, DJ, Patches, and Momma’s mom) http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/DUSTY101/Resident.htm

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Brinkley. Please find comfort in knowing that Brinkley is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I am sure that Brinkley and Spooky have become good friends. Just recently on January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. Spooky never met Hannah but I am sure Spooky greeted Hannah at the bridge. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

To precious Brinkley, a new angel at the Rainbow... I’m sure that with your new feather-soft guardian angel wings, you now so lovingly watch over your family back here. And I just know, too, that you’ve found the coziest & softest places to take your sunshine filled Rainbow-colored doggy naps, haven't you... May butterflies grace your dreams as you sleep… And may each time you look up and see that wondrously magical Rainbow, may you know that Joan and all those who loved you back here have helped make it shine a little brighter for you. How? With their tears, sweet baby. You see, each love-drop filled tear here has mixed with the sunshine there at your new home, and your Rainbow shines even brighter for you now..... An old Indian proverb: "The Soul would have no Rainbow if the Eyes had No Tears" says it best... You now find rest in the Arms of God's very own Angels...what more could have ever been wished for you? What more could have ever been wished...Rest well, little one.

Joan, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy.....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. We are sure that beautiful Brinkley and Nikki Mae have become good friends and are now having so much fun playing and running again. Please visit our Nikki Mae at: http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/NIKKI115/Resident.htm

My Sidney was on the bridge to welcome Brinkley to his new home. They are chasing sunbeams and telling "tails" of their great lives. I have asked them to send you a rainbow from heaven above, a upside down smile. When you miss Brinkley the most, listen to your heart, his love is there.

Dear Brinkley, I have been thinking about you since I spoke to your Mom about you. I looked at the Westminster dog show on TV and saw a dog who was just like you. I had never heard of the breed before. I am sure GOD would never allow a dog show at RBB as, in HIS eyes, all are winners. BUT, I just know you would win. :-) Just remember, try to keep out of puddles and brush at least once a day. :-) I heard you are such a fast learner and know all the names of ALL the animals in the neighborhood. Keep up the good work. Take care. Gloria and the RBB kids.

They will not go quietly, the pets who've shared our lives. In subtle ways they let us know their spirit still survives. Old habits still can make us think we hear them at the door Or step back when we drop a tasty morsel on the floor. Our feet still go around the place the food dish use to be, And, sometimes, coming home at night, we miss them terribly. And although time may bring new friends and a new food dish to fill, That one place in our hearts belongs to them.... and always will. - Author unknown. I am so sorry for your loss but I do hope that this poem offers you some comfort. Blessings………………….. Joyce

Dear Brinkley, I am sending this paper as I heard you enjoyed reading things. If you ever get anxious, just pull out this paper and read it. I could not send a book or a magazine, as I could not find one to send. I have enjoyed learning all about you. I hope you had a chance to meet all the family members today. Do remember, you are not alone Or forgotten. :-) Jakes Mum. xoxo

I trust that Brinkley will meet my Max and my Mia on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge. They will welcome him with wags and licks! And you will learn to swim. Let those tears flow, my friend. Know that you did the right thing, by allowing Brinkley to move on gracefully and sooner, than asking him to hang in there in discomfort. It was the loving thing to do.

My thoughts and prayers are with you as I too lost my dear sweet Kelby this past week. That day when I found out that Kelby's muzzle was swollen and had a huge tumor in his chest,no matter how much I didn't want to let Kelby go, I knew in my heart it wasn't fair for me to want him to stay when he couldn't eat or drink anymore. It seemed like the shortest drive to take him to the vet and it never seemed like enough time to let him know how much I loved him. I know that your Brinkley has probably became friends with him and they are enjoying the snow together.
