10 years. Where Bright Eyes is, there is no more time. Your memories are forever. Hugs to you, Susan. I came across this little poem (unknown author) and thought I'd share it here: The tide recedes, but leaves behind bright seashells on the sand. The sun goes down, but gentle warmth still lingers on the land. The music stops, yet echoes on in sweet, soulful refrains. For every joy that passes, something beautiful remains.

Susan, as always, I think of you and your beloved Bright Eyes today on her anniversary. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I lost my Indy on June 30th. He got really sick really fast and I had to let him go. For the first time in years and years, I have no pets, and it's been pretty lonely. I miss him (and Jasmine and Jake) so very much. I'll likely be adopting a Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppy later this year. A litter is due on 9/21 and I should know in a week or so if there are at least 4 puppies (I have 4th pick). I pray you are well and that today isn't too sad for you. God bless, Monica

Here we are at another anniversary - 8 years. Time is a curious thing to us humans. How memories of moments in time can seem, at the same time, both so long ago and yet as if they were just yesterday is a wonderful mystery. I still grieve his loss as I know you grieve Bright Eye's, but I believe I may have reached that "fourth day" (from Living Love by Martin Scot Kosins). I pray you are well.
