Oh I am so touched by your story. What a very very beautiful Bodie you have! So amazing and so meant for you and your life. The pain of that loss is so totally devastating my heart really cries for you. Bodie will always be around you. That kind of love never leaves us. God is good. We are given these animals to love & cherish and though they cannot live as long as we would like they teach us that love is the most important gift we are given. You are very lucky because you had an almost magical relationship with Bodie. You will keep him alive in your heart forever. I too just lost my angel companion and am totally heartbroken. I know he is better now but if that Jeanie were in front of me now I would have only one wish: to hold my Cujo one more time. I sing and talk to him every day. It really helps me. It can help you too. Cujo loved me to sing to him so still I do.. Keep your memories alive and keep talking and singing your love. I send a warm hug and love to Bodie

Hi Sara. As I read your sweet words about Bodie, it so much reminds me of myself. My little girl who I lost on June 15 was my everything. She gave me hope, the unconditional love I could not get anywhere else. She was my best friend, my soulmate. She and I had each others backs. I so hear your grief, your deep sense of loss. Bodie knew what you needed. It sounds like he could read your mind. He was an amazing companion. Sara, I belive Bodie is with you in spirit and will be there for you when its your time to leave this world. He will be with you at the Rainbow Bridge, helping you cross. In the meantime keep alive the memories you both created and shared together.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Bodie. Please find comfort in knowing that Bodie is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19 and Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20. For sweet Bodie, I know that during your lifetime you gave Sara much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness playing in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at your photo and reading what Sara wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Bodie, I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For Sara, I just visited your Bodie's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your precious Fur Angel.
