I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Blackie. Please find comfort in knowing that Blackie is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I am sure that Blackie and Spooky have become good friends. "God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your blessed furangel Blackie, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your face and a chuckle to your heart as you remember the way your baby's tender love touched your life, be the ones that surround you this Holiday Season. My prayer for each of us this Christmas season, is that each of our babies wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us. And may you catch a glimpse of your special sign, just when your heart needs it most.... May each love-filled memory you have of your beloved furbaby bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your fur-angel would want for you this blessed season.... With best wishes for you and your family this Holiday, Karen (Dusty, DJ & Patches' mom) http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/DUSTY101/Resident.htm

Your baby, Blackie was such a cutie pie. It is very hard to lose our babies, they become such an important part of our lives and then they are gone. My angel girl, Lexy, went to the Rainbow Bridge on 11/21/08. That was the worse day of my life and I still miss her every day. I am sure she has welcomed Blackie and is showing him around. They will be waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge. Please visit my baby, Lexy.

O my poor blackie. My poor Joan. I know the loss of a pet is terrible. It is like loosing a family member. Some people do not understand that. But we do. You are now in doggie heaven with Scamp and Rocky and I now you are having a wonderful time up there. Bless all of you and thanks for all the wonderful memories of you. Love Marylin

Dearest Joanie, I know your heart is broken, I know you provided the best "remainig life" that you could to this "hard working" boy. His life started out tough, no real love, but you showed him!!! No one could have given him more love and returned the favor. He never wanted to leave "the good life" let alone you and his fellow friends. Sure they are all wonderinfg where he is, so are you. You are a very spritualy women and I know that as time passes you will find the strength. Thank God for Grateful Greyhounds, as they were instrumental in "hooking" you up with such a doll. In time it will get better. Love your remaining babies and know that your friends and famly keep you in their thoughts and prayers, hoping you can cope with this loss. It is never easy. Much love always...Susan

Blackie, What a precious baby you were, always so loyal and loving. You taught and gave your mommy so much that she now knows the true meaning of unconditional love. She longs for the day to be able to hold you and to look into your eyes again. I know just how grateful you are for all of love and care in which she provided you. She misses you baby, so very much. I know that you don't want her to be sad for too long, but instead, be happy. For you are happy, content at peace and have been surrounded by so many others who also love and adore you, including my Shayna Girl and Leche.I extend my deepest condolences to you for the loss of Baby.I know just how painful it is to have lost your angel, for, I too, lost mine. Please vist my Shayna Girl at: http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/SHAYN005/Resident.htm and Leche at http://www.rainbowbridge.com/residents/LECHE001/Resident.htm My thoughts and prayers are with you. Until we are with our babies again. Shayna and Leche's mommy, Lisa

My deepest sympathies to you on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 8 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

I am so sorry for your loss. We lost Joshua on 4/23 and we still miss him every day. The Holidays were tough because we had things that reminded us of him. In time you will adjust but you will never forget. Know that you will be together again one day and until then may you find the peace and grace of Our Lord to help you through this time. Blessings.......................

I hope you're feeling less sad today. It sounds as if you have lots of pets with you. That should help. My baby died on the 23rd and I don't think I'll ever get over it. My sympathy goes out to you.

Blackie - You gave a lot of love and pleasure to your family. Send them some signs, kisses from the Rainbow to let them know that you are safe, happy, healthy and will have many friends. Let Joan know that God has appointed you to be the guardian, protector to watch over her until she is called to the Bridge to join you one day. I will tell my Brande to find you and play with you. To Joan - I send my sincere sympathy to you over the loss of Blackie. I too lost my soulmate not long ago, see Brande http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BRAND167/Resident.htm - We know that God has promised we will be with our babies again one day. I leave this quote with you, "heaven is the only place where all the dogs and cats you have ever loved will come running to meet you." Author Unknown
