Hello Douglas, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Beatrix. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. One day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander & Zianna & have attached their link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZIANN001/Resident.htm

"God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your blessed furangel, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your face and a chuckle to your heart as you remember how your baby’s paw prints touched your life, be the ones that bloom in your heart this Holiday Season. My prayer for all of us this Christmas season, is that each of our babies wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us during this blessed season. May you catch a glimpse of your special sign, just when your heart needs it the most....And may each love-filled memory you have of your beloved Beatrix bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your baby-angel would want for you this year...Best wishes for you and your family this Holiday Season, Karen (Dusty, DJ, Patches, and Momma’s mom) http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/DUSTY101/Resident.htm

Hi Douglas: It sounds like you're having a rough time right now. I hope the lighting candle ceremony was inspirational for you. I can't figure out why dogs have such short life spans and why they know more about unconditional love than any of us humans do. We have much to learn from them. I absolutely am sure you will see Beatrix again but for now, that gives little comfort. There are no words but to say, I'm sorry for your loss but happy to had a friend so wonderful. Love, Miss April and Miss Roxie

I am sorry for your lost Bea. I just lost my closest companion and best friend, Daisy, so I am sharing your sadness and grief. I love that quote by Garth Brooks on the Rainbows Bridge page which says, "I could have missed the pain, but I would have had to miss the dance." That struck a chord with me. No matter how awful I am feeling now, I wouldn't want to think of never having had the chance to have a pet touch my heart and soul. I am sure you feel the same.

Dear Doug, I am so sorry for your loss. Our dear ones are so a part of our lives that when it comes time for them to leave, it is so difficult. If you can for a moment picture your best friend Bea now playing, happy, healthy, and surrounded by only good it will comfort you. Rainbow Bridge is beautiful and your Bea fits in perfectly. She especially loves the crystal clear lakes for her swimming. All is well in this special place. Mimi

Douglas, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy.....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. We are sure that beautiful Beatrix and Nikki Mae have become good friends and are now having so much fun playing and running again. Please visit our Nikki Mae at: http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/NIKKI115/Resident.htm

Oh. Bea - what a beautiful girl you are! It sounds like you were full of fun and adventure. Just like my sponge bob. And like my sponge bob, you left this world suddenly and we weren't prepared to let you go. I'm sure now you are both running and having more adventures at the rainbow bridge. Douglas, I know your heart is breaking, as is mine. Hold on tight to the wonderful memories.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Bea. Please find comfort in knowing that Bea is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. Just recently on January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. Spooky never met Hannah but I am sure Spooky greeted Hannah at the bridge. I am sure that Bea, Spooky, and Hannah have become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan
