"God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your blessed furangel, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your face and a chuckle to your heart as you remember how your baby’s paw prints touched your life, be the ones that bloom in your heart this Holiday Season. My prayer for all of us this Christmas season, is that each of our babies wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us during this blessed season. May you catch a glimpse of your special sign, just when your heart needs it the most....And may each love-filled memory you have of your beloved Baxter bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your baby-angel would want for you this year...Best wishes for you and your family this Holiday Season, Karen (Dusty, DJ, Patches, and Momma’s mom) http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/DUSTY101/Resident.htm

Hello Kathy, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Baxter. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. One day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander & Zianna & have attached their link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZIANN001/Resident.htm

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Baxter. Please find comfort in knowing that Baxter is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. Just recently on January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. Spooky never met Hannah but I am sure Spooky greeted Hannah at the bridge. I am sure that Baxter, Spooky, and Hannah have become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Dear Kathy and Rita, what a wonderful blessing that sweet Baxter came into your lives many years ago and became your beloved companion and family member. He's beautiful and precious in every way. My two kitties, Inky and Bubba Lou, were there to welcome Baxter to heavenly sunshine and I am sure my kitties have already fallen in love with your little angel. Know always that Baxter is happy and well, romping like a puppy in God's most beautiful meadow. We will be reunited with our furry little angels someday. Blessings of healing and peace, dear friends. I understand and care. Jane

My Sidney was on the bridge to welcome Baxter to his new home. They are chasing sunbeams and telling "tails" of their great lives. I have asked them to send you a rainbow from heaven above, a upside down smile. When you miss Baxter the most, listen to your heart, his love is there.

Baxter had the most beautiful face....His eyes could melt any heart...as it did mine. He loved treats and he knew I was an easy touch...so treats he got whenever he visited us. I know my beloved Annie greeted him with a wagging tail and toy to share. Baxter...I love you little guy.

Kathy, I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful Baxter. Baxter was sent to you by our Lord the Almighty as a sign of his love for you. These furry packages of love deliver to us such special fellowship, and companionship. There is nothing stronger than the bond that a man or a woman has for their fur-baby. They give us the strength to face the daily human/earthly dealings. I just lost Ginger the love of my life; my leading lady of 17 years, this past fall. Grieving is a natural response of having to send them on their final journey to eternal happiness. Take care in knowing that your precious Baxter is relaxing at one of the many meadows that surround the Rainbows Bridge, is well and playing with the other fur-babies like my Ginger. baxter sends love wishes your way; thankful for having you as their human soul-mate and waits for you to be there with them. Please visit my Ginger at http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/GINGE256/Resident.htm

Dear Kathy, I'm sure for the loss of your Baxter. I lost my Finnbar in December. I know how hard it is to say goodbye.Baxter is so handsome. You'll be together again when its time just as it should be & Baxter will be even more perfect than you remember. Until then he's waiting for you at the bridge happy and healthy. He's having a ball with his new friends all the while keeping an eye on you. Finn loves treats too so I'm sure they're getting plenty. If you would care to visit my Finnbar http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/FINNB001/Resident.htm

You created a beautiful and touching memory page for Baxter. He was an unusual looking and beautiful dog. Baxter would want you to remember him always, as he will remember you, but not hurt too much while you are grieving. He's at peace. Perhaps someday, you'll be able to think of Baxter more with smiles than tears. He'd like that.
