It's been such a long time since he passed and yet I'm so sad about your loss. I lost my baby guinea pig 2 months ago and I still cry everyday. I hope they are waiting for us somewhere.

Hi Adric, this is my first time visiting your memorial here. You sounded like a very fun guinea pig that had a great life, I'm so happy for you. It's always amazing to me how different each guinea pig is, and I've had quite a few! I hope you will be able to meet my little Cal in the Rainbow Bridge, he just arrived today. He's very sweet, and I hope you two can have fun running around together. Maybe afterwards you could "perch" on a hidey hut together and watch things? Cal loved doing that when he felt well. Cheri, my condolences for your loss of Adric. It may have been almost 20 years ago, but the pain of losing a friend that close never truly goes away. I also buckle up my pigs in their travel boxes before I take them places! Glad to know he was travelling safely, haha. No matter where life takes you, I wish you the best of luck, and I hope you have a wonderful day. Adric is definitely having a blast right now, but I'm sure he still misses you.

Dear Cheri, I am sure that the love you had for your little friend outshines the pain of losing him. I think we have not truly lived until we have loved so much. Hope you and Adric can be together again some day.

Hi Cheri, I was reading about some of the babies who went to Rainbow Bridge many years ago. Adric sounded like such fun and you can tell he certainly loved you. My baby Rudy, a cat, left me almost 2 months ago. It is amazing how something so small can bring us such joy. I knew it would be painful when Rudy had to leave, but I don't think any of us realize the depth of that pain or how much they could make us laugh or smile. I always put a seat belt over Rudy's carrier. Someone saw me doing that one day as we were leaving the vets and said they had never thought about that, but would always "buckle up" from now on. Adric please look for Rudy. He is a Singapura cat, small with huge eyes and ears and a very long tale. I know he would love to play with you. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body. I will leave you something special, but I don't think they have frozen peas. Lots of hugs and kisses to you, Bunny

Great page. My Dad always caleld the Convent River The Western River . I grew up beside the Eglington Canal north of the University Road bridge. The canal was our swimming pool during the summers. My brother used to go snorkelling and found old stone ginger beer bottles and other nineteenth century relics in the silt at the bottom of the canal. The lower lock gate at Parkaveara was removed in the late 1970s, I think.

What a wonderful tribute!! I have just rescued three "wheepers" of my very own and wondered if this wonderful place honored them as well. My beloved Daisy is here and I visit her as often as I can. I hope you adopted another wheeper. They bring such joy!!

Cherie, I read your memorial tribute to Adric, and just want to acknowledge that your thoughts are not in vain. You have written beautiful tributes to Adric. So sorry for your loss. Although, I never owned a quinea pig, I find it so nice that you took such wonderful care of your baby and loved Adric so much. Again, so sorry.

Hello Adric I was just visiting some of my Princess's friends at the bridge and came across you, I just wanted to stop in for a minute to say hello and to tell you and each of you precious souls that you are loved and thought of each and everyday in some very special way no matter how long you have been gone to the bridge. Sending you wishes for a beautiful day in heaven with all our babies and the angels themselves.

Such a cute story about little Adric. Have you come across Peanut, yet, Adric? She'll be having her first Easter, in Heaven.

"Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened" -Anatole France - I have found such profound truth in that statement.... I believe in my heart, that is why we never forget the joy, the love, the very presence of our babies even after they've gone. You see, the part of us they've awoken simply never again falls asleep inside us! Instead, the cherished memories of their love, their very "presence" in our lives, keeps their flame eternally glowing in our hearts, no matter how little...or how long of a time has gone by since they've left our side.... May Adric's flame continue to burn brightly and shine eternally in your heart, Cheri... With wishes of the warmest and happiest of Holiday seasons this year to your entire family.......... from, Karen (Dusty's mommy)....... http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/DUSTY101/Resident.htm

My deepest sympathies to you on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 8 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write or talk on the phone please let me know. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on. Pat Lively

Adric - You were a sweetheart and constant companion to your mom. You are probably the only Guinea Pig that has a college education! Send her some kisses from the Rainbow to let her know that you are safe, happy, healthy and have many fur friends now. Let mom know that God has appointed you to be her guardian, protector to watch over her until she is called to the Bridge to join you one day. I will tell my Brande to find you and play with you. Adric, you are now most probably enjoying all the frozen peas you want. To Cheri - I send you my sincere sympathy over the loss of Adric. I too lost my soulmate not long ago, see Brande http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BRAND167/Resident.htm - I leave this quote with you, I send my blessings every day and remember that I love you very much. By the way, I am in heaven but wherever there is love, I am there also. Love, God & Adric
