Austin is such sweet dog. You both were lucky to have spent the time you did with each other. Your love lives on forever on earth and over to the rainbow bridge. I bet little Austin is still sitting on the patio with you enjoying the moment.

My best friend closed his eyes last night, As his head was in my hand. The doctors said he was in pain, And it was hard for him to stand. The thoughts that scurried through my head As I cradled him in my arms, Were of his younger, puppy years, And Oh...his many charms. Today, there was no gentle nudge, With an intense "I love you" gaze, Only a heart that's filled with tears Remembering our joy-filled days. But an Angel just appeared to me, And he said, "You should cry no more, God also loves our canine friends, He's installed a doggy door!" — Jan Cooper

"Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened" -Anatole France - I have found such profound truth in that statement.... I believe in my heart, that is why we never forget the joy, the love, the very presence of our babies even after they've gone. You see, the part of us they've awoken simply never again falls asleep inside us! Instead, the cherished memories of their love, their very "presence" in our lives, keeps their flame eternally glowing in our hearts, no matter how little...or how long of a time has gone by since they've left our side.... May Austin's flame continue to burn brightly and shine eternally in your heart... With wishes of the warmest and happiest of Holiday seasons this year to your entire family.......... from, Karen (Dusty's mommy)....... http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/DUSTY101/Resident.htm

Hello Austin...What a beautiful girl you are, with those loving eyes. I can tell your family must miss you very much. When you see my Sophie, tell her Mommy loves her very much. I know you are all busy playing & chasing around your beautiful new home. Peace be with you, pretty girl, until we all meet again at the Bridge.

I'm very sorry about Austin. Only a true animal lover can understand what it means to lose a pet. my little buddy Caleb left me 8 months ago, and i'm lost without him. he was my baby.

Austin is such a beautiful girl. Wayne I am so deeply sorry for your loss of her. What a great picture of her...she is precious. I know she has met Alex at the Bridge along with the other babies and all of them are having a great time. I also know she is waiting on you when the time comes just like all of the other babies are waiting for the rest of us. Until then, they are pain free, in great health and having lots of fun. God Bless You and Austin.

Hi Austin, I visited your site today and your Dad had such nice things to say to you. I know it is very hard to lose someone as special as you are to him. Send him some more signs that you are OK to let him know that you are thinking of him. Say hi to my Misty for me when you see her. You left a couple of weeks before she did so you probably met her when she got there. Have a good time until your family gets to join you. Be a sweet angel for your Dad.
