Ashley, my sweet baby girl, I cannot believe it’s been two months since you left. My heart still aches for you and I miss you every day. Every time I see a dog that resembles you my heart chokes. At night sometimes I think I hear you barking. One day I won’t cry so much but I know you are happy playing beyond the meadows at the bridge with your daddy and new friends.. I’ll think about you every day for the rest of my life. And I cherish the time we had together. One day I will get another furry friend, but it won’t be you. It will never be you and I know that but I still have love to give and I know you would want me to help another. I love you Ashley and I’ll never stop loving you.4TL Your loving mommy.

Robin...a beautiful tribute to a great friend. Ashley is a beautiful girl with a great smile. It is always hard to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us. Be sure to know she is happy, healthy and playing with Oreo, Ralph and Eva while waiting for us to join them at the Bridge. I can send you my babies sites if you wish to visit..take care.. I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Ashley. Please find comfort in knowing that Ashley is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th, 2001, after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13, Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19, Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20, Firefly 12/20/22, and Zachary 02/19/23. To the "Ashmister" aka "Ball-in-Chain"! Thank you for the 15 yrs you have your momma! I know when she was scrolling through the rescue site and saw your picture, it was love at first sight! It was "that face" which captivated her and she knew she had to get you. Thinking you were a Jack Russell Terrier, they didn't know you were a basket of all Terriers!!! Specially Amstaff, needy as a baby, sassier than a teenager, but above all loving. You filled your parents lives with joy and fond moments, like when you dropped your doggles on the lake while fishing, or ate your daddy's pants, or make your mom chase you after telling not to eat dirt. You were a fun loving furball who gave me some good laughs on my birthday visits, thank you Ash! You will be missed and forever loved... from your friends Tyler and me.
