“God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your sweet America, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your heart as you remember how your baby’s paw prints touched your life, be the ones that surround you this first Holiday Season without your beloved furbaby. My prayer for all of us this Joyous season, is that our babies will wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us during this blessed season. May you catch a glimpse of your special sign, just when your heart needs it the most....And may each love-filled memory you have of your beloved fur-angel bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your baby-angel would want for you this season. Best wishes for you and your family this Holiday Season, Karen (Dusty, Momma, DJ & Patches mom)

Joellen and Sean, I loved hearing America ('merica) stories - she was quite the character and brought a lot of joy and fun to life. I know how much she'll be missed, I'm so sorry.

We will not forget the first time we met America. She was such a little ball of fur and afraid to move on the hard wood floors. She was always happy to see you when you came back into a room no matter how long you were gone, and always wanted to jump into your lap when you sat down. She will be missed by all. Love to you all. I am so sorry to hear about your loss of America. Please find comfort in knowing that America is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. I am sure that America and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Dear Sean & Joellen, what a lovely tribute to your baby girl, America. It brought a smile to me, as I read of her little personality and antics. My heart goes out to you, but I hope you find comfort knowing that your little girl is running and playing in the meadows just like when she was a young pup. I leave an American flag to honor her memory. Blessings, Rose

What a great tribute to your precious fur baby, America. I have been a pet lover/owner for all my life and know the love and loyalty our pets bring to us, with no expectations in return. May the sweet memories you have of America help your heart to heal.

Hello, pretty America Sarmast, welcome to the meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Mommy and Daddy love and miss you so...they made you a beautiful place and wrote loving words about you. We asked our Pressy to welcome you and be a playmate to chase colorful rainbows and give you special kitty love headbumps. She'll show Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so Mommy and Daddy feel your loving presence with them and sweet kisses in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly until they come to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask they not be so sad but treasure your memory and remember you're nestled beside your pawprints deep in their hearts forever. Play meadow games with furangels but stop often to smile at Mommy and Daddy so they feel the warmth of your love surround them and know you miss them too and are with them. Soar among clouds on silvery new angel wings to watch over Mommy and Daddy always, beloved sweet America. Pressy's Grandpa

What a beautiful tribute to your sweet America. America is a very lucky girl to have parents that love and gave her a joyous full life. I'm very sorry for your loss. You will always be a gift to her as she is to you. May her sweet spirit surround you as she runs and plays always watching over her mommy and daddy until she runs back to you full of hugs and kisses when you're reunited at the Bridge. My thoughts and prayers go out to you.

You gave her such a wonderful life and It is not easy losing our loving companions. I completely understand the pain and grief that you are experiencing and you are not alone. Would like to share this poem read during Princess Diana's memorial. "Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity." (Henry Van Dyke) Hope that the many memories of America will continually provide you with comfort, she will forever live in your heart and memories.
