When I saw your picture of Amber it took my breath away, I'm at home with my cat Ollie who looks the image of Amber but sadly he's dying of an untreatable virus. I'm shattered but know what I have to do for him. I hope you're doing ok and can think of Amber and remember all the good times you had.

"God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your blessed furangel, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your face and a chuckle to your heart as you remember how your baby’s paw prints touched your life, be the ones that surround you this Holiday Season. My prayer for all of us this Christmas season, is that each of our babies wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us during this blessed season. May you catch a glimpse of your special sign, just when your heart needs it the most....And may each love-filled memory you have of your beloved Amber bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your baby-angel would want for you this year...Best wishes for you and your family this Holiday Season, Karen (Dusty, DJ, Patches, and Momma’s mom) http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/DUSTY101/Resident.htm

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Amber. Please find comfort in knowing that Amber is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I am sure that Amber and Spooky have become good friends. Just recently on January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. Spooky never met Hannah but I am sure Spooky greeted Hannah at the bridge. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Hello Maeve, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Amber. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. One day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander & Zianna & have attached their link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZIANN001/Resident.htm

Maeve, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. We are sure that beautiful Amber and Nikki Mae have become good friends and are now having so much fun playing and running again. Please visit our Nikki Mae at: http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/NIKKI115/Resident.htm

To precious Amber, a new angel at the Rainbow... I’m sure that with your new feather-soft guardian angel wings, you now so lovingly watch over your family back here. And I just know, too, that you’ve found the coziest & softest places to take your sunshine filled Rainbow-colored cat naps, haven't you... May butterflies grace your dreams as you sleep… And may each time you look up and see that wondrously magical Rainbow, may you know that Maeve and all those who loved you back here have helped make it shine a little brighter for you. How? With their tears, sweet baby. You see, each love-drop filled tear here has mixed with the sunshine there at your new home, and your Rainbow shines even brighter for you now..... An old Indian proverb: "The Soul would have no Rainbow if the Eyes had No Tears" says it best... You now find rest in the Arms of God's very own Angels...what more could have ever been wished for you? What more could have ever been wished...Rest well, little one.

My Sidney was on the bridge to welcome Amber to her new home. They are chasing sunbeams and telling "tails" of their great lives. When you miss Amber the most, listen to your heart, her love is there.

Maeve, I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful Amber. Amber was sent to you by our Lord the Almighty. These furry packages of love deliver to us such special fellowship, and companionship. This is a gift from God because he shows his love for us by sending them our way. There is nothing stronger than the bond that a man or a woman has for their fur-baby. They give us the strength to face the daily human/earthly dealings. I just lost Ginger the love of my life; my leading lady of 17 years, this past fall. Grieving is a natural response of having to send them on their final journey to eternal happiness. Take care in knowing that your precious Amber is relaxing at one of the many meadows that surround the Rainbows Bridge, is well and playing with the other fur-babies like my Ginger. Amber sends love wishes your way; thankful for having you as their human soul-mate. Please visit my Ginger at http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/GINGE256/Resident.htm

Maeve.. to lose a freind you have had by your side for over 20 years must be breaking your heart into a million pieces. I am keeping you in my thoughts during this very sad time. Godspeed sweet Amber.. you are such a good kitty! Visit your mommy often in her dreams to bring her more smiles than tears and to let her know you are never very far from her.

I'm sorry about the loss of your Amber. I know how hard it is to say goodbye. We don't get to keep our furbabies nearly long enough. It's funny that when we bring these guys into our lives we think we're doing them a favor. We get so much more in return. The bridge sounds like such a wonderful place. Amber is healthy, happy and even more beautiful than you can remember. She's having a ball playing and flying around the way cats do. I hope that Amber has met my Finnbar by now. He's only been at the bridge 6 weeks or so. I know that they'll be great friends. Its a nice thought. If you would care to visit my Finn, http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/FINNB001/Resident.htm

Dear Amber, you are purrfectly beautiful! Please go to the Bridge and purr your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the heart of your mummy who misses you so much, and she will send her love right back to you on angels' wings. Maeve, your world has lost a very special furpurrson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed home a very special soul. Amber is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May her sweet love continually nuzzle your heart until then. Blessings and peace, Clare and Martha....Please visit our Katy at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/KATY004/resident.HTM

For sweet Amber, I know that during your lifetime you gave Maeve much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness at Rainbows Bridge. From looking at your photo and at the beautiful residency that Maeve created just for you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Amber I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and although he is a little dog he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For Maeve, I just visited Amber's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. Last January I lost my little boy Pedro so I can understand how you must be feeling. I am sure if asked, Amber would have said that every day she spent with you was a blessing. Wishing you all the best always, Rosalind (Pedro's mom)

MAEVE SORRY ABOUT THE PASSING OF YOUR CAT AMBER
From: Pressy's Family
On: 1/28/13

Hello, precious Amber, welcome to the meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Mummy loves and misses you so...she made you a beautiful place at Rainbows Bridge. We asked our Pressy to welcome you and be a playmate to chase golden sunbeams and colorful rainbows and share kitty love headbumps. She'll show you wonders of Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so Mummy hears your sweet meows and purrs and feels a soft touch of your kitty paw in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly for her until she comes to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask she not be so sad but treasure memories of you and remember you're curled up beside your pawprints deep in her heart forever. Play meadow games with other furangels but stop often to smile at Mummy so she feels the warmth of your love surround her and knows you miss her too and are with her. Soar among clouds now on silvery new angel wings to watch over Mummy always, beloved Amber. Pressy's Grandpa
