Beverly..a beautiful tribute to a great friend. It is always hard to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us. Be sure to know he is happy, healthy and playing with Oreo, Ralph, Eva and Hermione while waiting for us to join them at the Bridge. I can send you my babies sites if you wish to visit..take care.. Dear Beverley; I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your precious Alfie.He is waiting for you at Rainbow Bridge running and playing like a puppy once again while waiting there for you. Rainbow Bridge is a wonderful, beautiful, peaceful, safe place that God has created for our fur babies to wait for us to reunite with them once again. Beverley: When we need each other, we seem to find each other, as in the love story about Alfie. Memories of which you have shared will always bring a moment to pause, reflect and feel the gratitude of having shared Alfie's lifetime, and knowing he peacefully journeyed to Rainbow Bridge with his newness and a set of wings. This is the biggest honor when they earn their wings on earth and continue to watch over their beloved parent. Every Monday night we sing "your song" which is filled with meaning and most of all, healing. I'm deeply sorry for your loss and the pain associated after losing a very very special friend. A vase filled with fern leaves is actually an extra set of wings gifted in loving memory.
